Arenafoot Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 I usually would not even mention Gamestop, with all the negative reviews of Gamestop.........but they are running a Buy 2 Get 1 Free on Vintage Titles on their website. http://www.gamestop.com/collection/retro-classics?tp=i-H43-8C-3wf-26IRJH-1n-O9YU-1c-25cph2-1xpmOM&cid=eml_10002292 If you do make a purchase, you can get another 2.5% cash back from eBates.com too: http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=oomHA0akLqUbixbe3kIlHw%3D%3D&eeid=28187 Brian Matherne - owner/curator of "The MOST comprehensive list of Atari VCS/2600 homebrews ever compiled." http://tiny.cc/Atari2600Homebrew author of "The Atari 2600 Homebrew Companion" book series available on Amazon! www.amazon.com/author/brianmatherne
AlamoAtari Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 If only they had Atari. They don't even have jaguars.
AlamoAtari Posted December 4, 2015 Report Posted December 4, 2015 My understanding is that for the reasonable priced games are okay but forget about purchasing anything worth over $100 there. They are horrible.
Arenafoot Posted December 4, 2015 Author Report Posted December 4, 2015 My understanding is that for the reasonable priced games are okay but forget about purchasing anything worth over $100 there. They are horrible. Yeah the most expensive carts are the ones that previous purchasers are getting ripped off on (I.E. - inside boards being switched out). Thats why I was debating about posting it. I might buy some of the lower priced NES carts since I have a $25 GS gift card. AlamoAtari Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 The only bad thing I heard is the high end carts might be the real problem. Other than that, it's not a bad deal. I don't personally think it's a bad move on GameStop, but maybe this will work out in the gamer favor. The prices might actually start to stabilize.
Arenafoot Posted December 9, 2015 Author Report Posted December 9, 2015 got my order tonight.....no bad labels - no written on carts neither!! all 6 in very good to excellent condition I would say - though I haven't tested them yet..........
