AlamoAtari
I saw this today, it's called the slocum tracker. You can make your own soundtrack and sounds without having to get into assembly language to much. A great little tool for homebrew or just messing around with. Justin
I've always been really impressed with Paul Slocum. I think he's a literal genius. I wrote a blog entry on him a number of years ago (which I need to find), My blog entry linked to an article The Austin Chronicle had written about Paul Slocum for SXSW. It's a bit dated, but still a great read if you're curious about an awesome person who pushed the 2600 to the max in the most interesting ways: From The Austin Chronicle: Paul Slocum Modding the game http://www.austinchronicle.com/screens/2007-03-02/451623/ The Professor, Rowsdower70, MaximumRD and 3 others
AlamoAtari
I think it's awesome that Paul made it available to other people. I am going to mess with this one for a bit. It might be cool if I could make some hacks for myself, maybe good enough to share with you guys here. Ballblaɀer
Paul composed the title theme for Thrust+ -- it's the pinnacle of musical achievement on a 2600 cart, if you ask me. To hear sounds like these coming from a VCS... it rendered me speechless the first time I fired up the game!
