A31Chris
After all this time I'm still terrible at this game. I am too clumsy and the controller is too analog. I can see why a lot of players went to keyboard. It's more precise. But harder to learn. I insist on playing it as I originally played it though. RickR
Which version are you playing (on what system)? I like the Genesis version, but have some trouble remembering the special move button sequences.
A31Chris
Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection. Sega Saturn MKII 32x MKII(Kega Fusion) I can't get 6 button control scheme to work with Fusion. But regardless vof which version, I suck. Am gonna try the Genesis versions of 1 & 2 on Kega. Will soon buy the GOG version for backup PC. Edited July 20, 2018 by A31Chris Atari 5200 Guy
Atari 5200 Guy
I was never good at MK but analog controls for a game with digital controls? That would drive me crazy in an instant.
A31Chris
Am saying the d pad is reading my intent in an analog way. If I don't perfectly hit the direction I want to go it doesn't go there. Sometimes I want to back up but my hand tells it diagonal up and back so that's where it goes. Atari 5200 Guy
Ah. I had similar issues with a d-pad on a Dreamcast controller trying to play Space Channel 5. Still drove me bonkers.
A31Chris
Just now went to perform Johnny Cage's fatality. Forward 3x and a high punch. The third forward I wasn't perfect on so it diagonally leaped me over my opponent.
A31Chris
Apparently this guy is having many of the same problems. However I know it's a good chunk my fault since my friend use to come over and do way better than I did.
A31Chris
What is the significance of some of Johnny Cages Shadow kicks when they are red?
Kid A
What is the significance of some of Johnny Cages Shadow kicks when they are red? No difference. It just happens at random Mortal Kombat II is my favorite fighting game of all time. Pretty good at it. So is my brother. I recently played in a Mortal Kombat II tournament and my brother came with me and we both went to the finals. Unfortunately he Beat me.
