I gave up on inkjet printers years ago, the ink is expensive and the last straw for me (after the 5th printer) was when it used 1/2 of a new and expensive ink cartridge to "clean itself". I'm convinced that the so-called "cleaning mode" was someone's idea of how to rob people. I've been using the same laser printer for years now with 3rd party cartridges.
