nosweargamer
So after playing the game for about 30 years, I finally collected all 32 Treasures and got to the Kill Screen! It wasn't a perfect game. I did lose some points and 2 of my 3 lives, but I still got all the loot! You can check it out in this video: BTW, Here are the steps to the path you have to take: Step 1) Start by going right 11 screens. Enter the underground passage on the screen with the single rolling log after the second set of crocodiles. Go to left and take the exit. Step 2) Once you exit, continue left 10 screens until you find the screen with the 3 stationary logs and take the underground passage and continue left until the exit. Step 3) After exiting, go right 2 screens and get the ring. Step 4) Go left 4 screens to the screen with the 2 rolling logs. Take the underground passage and continue left until the exit. Step 5) Once you exit, go left 24 screens until you get to the screen with 3 rolling logs and an underground passage. Take it and go left to the exit. Step 6) Once you exit, go left a whooping 63 screens until you to the screen with 3 rolling logs and 3 holes in the grounds including an unground passage. Take it and go left to the exit. Step 7) Upon exiting, go right 3 screens and get the money. Step 8) Go left another 58 screens until you arrive at the screen with 2 rolling logs and an underground passage. Take it and go left towards the exit. Step 9) Go right 3 screens to get the gold bar. nosweargamer
i was told the way to play was to start go going left instead of the typical right............. Going left is typically considered an easier path by most, BUT you won't have time to get all the treasures. There are 255 screens in Pitfall, but 20 minutes isn't enough to cover all of them going straight through. If you want to get all the treasures, you will need to use the tunnels that act as short cuts and follow a specific path. In my run through, even following the correct path (with a few minor hiccups) I only had 8 seconds left when I finished. nosweargamer
Thanks guys! BTW. Just for fun, I tried going left only. Survived the whole twenty minutes, but ended 3 treasure short with over 30 screens left to get them all. There is no other way. You have to use the tunnels to get them all! nosweargamer
I wanna see the Kill Screen. Go to the 20:45 mark in the video. It happens shortly after. It freezes the screen and the time.
