Rowsdower70 Posted August 16, 2015 Report Posted August 16, 2015 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201406158429 A flashback (basically) with a cart port! Yes please! "For you - Rowsdower from the 70 - have been appointed Omnivisioner of the Game Grid." ~ Atari Adventure Square
RickR Posted August 16, 2015 Report Posted August 16, 2015 Where is the "Love" button? I want one of these.
Rowsdower70 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Report Posted August 16, 2015 Where is the "Love" button? I can't really help you with that. I've only heard tales that it exists. "For you - Rowsdower from the 70 - have been appointed Omnivisioner of the Game Grid." ~ Atari Adventure Square
Arenafoot Posted August 16, 2015 Report Posted August 16, 2015 From those titles listed, about 245 games are probably worthless....... like those NES ___ in 1 carts. https://www.google.com/search?q=nes+in-1+cart&biw=1440&bih=791&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAmoVChMImtPUi5SuxwIVhYsNCh2MwQCH Brian Matherne - owner/curator of "The MOST comprehensive list of Atari VCS/2600 homebrews ever compiled." http://tiny.cc/Atari2600Homebrew author of "The Atari 2600 Homebrew Companion" book series available on Amazon! www.amazon.com/author/brianmatherne

The Professor Posted August 16, 2015 Report Posted August 16, 2015 It looks to me to be a Taiwanese pirate system that were popular in Europe and South America years ago, which is why there was never a U.S. version.
RickR Posted August 16, 2015 Report Posted August 16, 2015 Just give me an Atari 2600 with composite out that I can plug any cartridge into. If this can do that, I'd buy it.
Rowsdower70 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Report Posted August 16, 2015 Yep, my dream is the retro-trio that does Atari 7800/2600/Intellivision/Colecovision in one system with composite. Is that too much to ask? "For you - Rowsdower from the 70 - have been appointed Omnivisioner of the Game Grid." ~ Atari Adventure Square
RickR Posted August 16, 2015 Report Posted August 16, 2015 Yep, my dream is the retro-trio that does Atari 7800/2600/Intellivision/Colecovision in one system with composite. Is that too much to ask? It shall be named "Old-school Retron 4".
Rowsdower70 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Report Posted August 16, 2015 Retron does the emulation, Id rather have the retro-bit guys doing clone hardware! And yeah, its such a win that just putting in 7800 system chipset you get the 2600. "For you - Rowsdower from the 70 - have been appointed Omnivisioner of the Game Grid." ~ Atari Adventure Square
Atari Adventure Square Posted August 17, 2015 Report Posted August 17, 2015 It's astonishing a cart-enabled VCS console - flashback or otherwise - has not appeared on the marketplace. Well, yeah, I understand the economic reality of it. I'd rather be astonished than logical about this.
Yo-Yo Posted August 17, 2015 Report Posted August 17, 2015 So wait, is this brand new? Or is this new old stock that was made in the 80s and never sold? It definitely appears to be a pirate system.
