I was not aware of this until a year or two ago. Very interesting, especially when you consider that it didn't use  any batteries. So far, this is my favorite, nonelectrical Pac-Man item I have found.

That is really cool!  I've never seen it before.  :pac_man:

 

I really do like those early Tomy handheld games, and they are all mostly mechanical like that.  I always pronounced it "Toe-me".

I recalled seeing this in catalogs (back-in-the-day) but never in person. I guess it would get boring really quick by todays standards....but still cool in my book!

 

I still have these two Tomy Pac-Man games from my childhood:
