I've met him more than once and he has been very nice to me each time. Today Mr. Shatner turns 93! Happy Bithday, Bill! DegasElite Posted March 22 Report Share Posted March 22 If it's any consolation, I met the late James Doohan once. I was almost 13 years old and I gave him a greeting card. He shook my hand. He was giving autographs at the time at a convention. That was back in 1987. Too bad he eventually passed away. but, he was pretty ill in his old age. RIP, Scotty. TrekMD Posted March 23 Author Report Share Posted March 23 I've gotten to meet Bill, De Kelley, Jimmy Doohan, Walter Koenig, George Takei, and Nichelle Nichols from the original series. Sad to see how many of them have already died. I never the opportunity to meet Leonard Nimoy. Nichelle I got to meet several times and it was sad seeing her developing dementia as time progressed. The last time I saw her on stage it was a convention in Miami and she got so confused answering questions.
