  1. That's better than my score! I have only been able to get 7100. I will keep trying!
  2. This is also why I prefer to get physical media when possible.
  3. I have a couple. I'll need to take a picture!
  4. I enjoyed the third episode. It did feel more like a true pilot for the series now that we have the backstory for Michael.
  5. Beef Drop Atari 7800 Difficulty Level: Normal High Score: 41,950 September 17, 2017
  6. Thank you! And thank you to Ken for making such fun games. RIP
  7. I did get to watch it in my phone as I still have internet/cable/phone at home. No matter how big the phone screen is, not the same. I plan to rewatch once the services are reconnected (hopefully on Sunday). I have been a Trek fan since I'm 12 and I've seen every incarnation of Star Trek I can watch. This is certainly another take on Trek and one that clearly does not skimp on budget. I think this is the first time Star Trek has been designed with a high budget for TV. Not even the days of TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT compare. I thought the story was interesting enough to keep my attention but the first two episodes are more of a prologue to the story. The goal was to establish Michael's character. I wish the Klingons had not been redesigned so much. If they had hair like they did since the movies, the redesign would not be as difficult to swallow. Despite that, the behavior is pretty much the Klingons we have come to expect. As for timeline, this is in the Prime timeline and they have said it multiple times. I supposed the updated look is to be expected. It is 2017 and not 1966. I don't think non-fans would watch if it had a 60's look to it and their goal is to bring new fans into Star Trek. I will keep watching. I am annoyed at having to pay for it but right now I'm using the credit I have from the Google Surveys I do to pay for it.
  8. LOL, OK, so your experience is consistent with some stuff I read.
  9. How's that game? There aren't many good console Trek games.
  10. I only got a PS2 recently. I got the slim model as it occupies very little space and that is what I need right now. It is a cool system and I love the backwards compatibility to the PSOne.
  11. I will be attending this one! Already have my hotel reservation done.
  12. Oh, oh! And I haven't been able to play again.
  13. OK, played some more today and here is my score...
  14. Since I had no clue how to do it, I sent it to McWill and he did it for me. He also replaced my Lynx's speaker, which was starting to have issues. I know there are folks who have done it themselves here but I don't know if any of them would be interested in doing it for anyone else.
  15. Yes, I did wait before shutting off the emulator! Just in case.
  16. Ah, the Lynx! I recommend getting McWill's LCD screen upgrade for it. Remarkable how nice the games look after the upgrade!
