This one reminds me of how hard it was to share toys with my older brother. Always telling me what to do and how to do it and making sure I didn't "mess it up" or break it. Sigh. I guess this is why I love my Atari 2600 so much, as that was the first toy we had that I kind of took ownership of and didn't have to take any guff over.
My sister was 7 years younger, so I was the one doing that all the time! 😁

"Mirrors" slowed down the pace but gave us a lot of character development for the bad guys. We also saw some change in the first officer. Here's The Ready Room episode...

So there's a challenge for today's homebrewers - take Garry's game and add the other 2 screens 🙂
That's already been done: Donkey Kong 2: Lost Levels

I think he's had to answer this question many, many, many times! LOL I've heard him at both FPF and PRGE talk about it.

I just watched this interview by GenXGrownUp with Garry Kitchen. Enjoy!
Video Description: One of the coolest benefits of being a content creator is having the opportunity to actually speak with some of the key figures who laid the foundation of the video game industry, and my guest for this video is without a doubt one of those individuals. He was there in the very early days of Activision when they were forging new ground as the first third-party game developer for Atari and later others, he is the wizard behind such successful titles as Keystone Kapers, Pressure Cooker, and Coleco's Donkey Kong, and is still blazing that trail today with other Activision alumni over at Audacity Games. In this interview, Garry Kitchen sets the record straight on the urban legend that Coleco intentionally designed the Atari 2600 port of Donkey Kong to make the ColecoVision version look that much more superior.

So, @RickR, did they sent you a reminder to celebrate?
-
So, exactly 24 years ago I joined Ebay and that led me to start collecting more and more retro games and systems. I was surprised at how easy it was to find old games! Ebay sent me an email with this image to "celebrate"...2913 positive feedback in that time. 🙂

The Haynes manuals are being shown on the Star Wars thread, so I figured I'd show the Star Trek Haynes manuals here...

I have to look into these. I see there’s one for the X-Wing too.
Yes. These are cool books, so I do recommend them.

I haven't been watching any of the Marvel movies or TV shows since Endgame. This movie, however, has piqued my interest.

I think it was the limited time AND the difficulty of dealing with the EXEC. The homebrew versions do not use the EXEC but, in fact, bypass it.
