Cool idea. I think I could join you guys some time. It will take some coordination but I'm sure we could do it. I did it for the Intellivisionaries a while back. 🙂

That is a nationwide thing. My local Macy's store has a full section dedicated as a Toys'R'Us store. I do believe, though, that Toys'R'Us is opening some smaller stores in some areas in the US.

Oh, Dig Dug on the 2600 is awesome! Atari did a much better job adapting this game compared to what Coleco did with Mr. Do! At least on this game you can make tunnels. No such luck on Mr. Do! You just erase everything and there are no tunnels! Unfortunate as the game is otherwise pretty good.

I should have mentioned that my parents never owned one of all-in-one units but I had an aunt who did. We always had fun playing with the equipment when we visited. She even had a TV with an early remote control that actually moved the channel dial when you pressed the button to change channels! That was so cool! -
I have a VCR that is saved but that hardly gets used. I still do have several VHS tapes with stuff that has not been transferred to DVD.

A way to play Atari 2600 games on an iOS device?
TrekMD replied to Atari 5200 Guy's topic in Atari 2600
I know there are several emulators for Android but I'm not aware of what is available for iOS. Usually Apple does not allow emulators on their store. At least, that's the last I heard. Maybe it has changed. -

I like arcade ports, so the 1st era and the current era are my favorites; however, that 3rd era was quite interesting.
