Hopefully my daily post limit isn't going to be reached with all of the posts I'm making here today.
82,200. Better than last time, but I can go farther I feel. I just need to get a handle on Phase 9. I need to come up with a good strategy. That quickly drained all of my lives from last run, too. Once I get past it, I can go much farther. I might just practice on that difficulty level for a while.

This is a game I am not too familiar with, my fav kind of HSSC! I should have more time to get in on this one for sure. 🙂

Here's the first score. Not great; I'm a bit rustier than I thought I was. Just need some NES WD-40 and I'll be able to go pretty far. I'm tired. It's been a long day. More time and energy tomorrow for Wrecking Crew. Played on my school-issued Chromebook.

A very similar thing happened to my Atari 7800 ProLine controller shortly after I got it. The physical button wasn't stuck, but it was making an electrical connection and wouldn't stop accelerating in Pole Position II (which was the only 7800 game I had at the time). I took it apart and cleaned the connector and put the metal connector thing back into place with scotch tape. Those ProLines can be very stubborn when you are trying to put them back together.
Though you might want to consider getting someone to fix it instead of taking it apart yourself. There's a lot more that can go wrong taking apart a handheld system than a controller, and they're less replaceable. Though you could probably fix it yourself, I wouldn't risk it. I messed up my Tetris Nano LCD game taking it apart and trying to fix a similar issue.

Looking for someome to fix my model 2 Lynx. One of the A buttons is electronically stuck ( I don't know which one) I can only play Qix on it. Congratulations to @Scott Stilphen who just became Master of the Galaxians!! We had one of our BIGGEST TURNOUTS which was just about on par with our recent 2020 Pole Position II Grand Prix!! Amazing! Galaxian is one of the funnest arcade ports on the Atari 2600 and turned out to be one of our most fun Squad Challenges too! I want to thank EVERYBODY for joining in High Score Squad and for making this a fun place to play games with friends, old and new.
@Scott Stilphen almost broke into the 100,000 Points Club with his impressive score of 96,830 to clench the top spot and come in 1st Place on the board. @socrates63 also played a very impressive game and scored 81,990 points to take 2nd Place. @RickR takes 3rd with a hefty 53,030 point finish. Way to go, guys! And lets all give a GIANT Atari I/O Welcome to our new friends @James Campbell Jr. and @GoldenGalaxiesGaming who joined us in High Score Squad this week, it's great to have you guys here!
