sramirez2008 got a reaction from TrekMD in Star Wars Books
That was great! Thanks for sharing. I've never seen this before.

sramirez2008 got a reaction from - Ω - in Weird Video Game Machines of Yesteryear
My cousins had a Telstar and a Sears heavy sixer. Their heavy was the first "Atari" that I ever saw and played and its the primary reason that I have one in my collection.
The Telstar was pretty cool. I hadn't thought of this console for a long time. Thanks for sharing the pick.👍

Btw, you can use either joystick for normal, single player games, like any CX10/40 type js. This makes it one of the better ambidextrous controllers available.

@socrates63 Congratulations on joining the Super Twin Brotherhood! I’m sure you’ll like it. I love playing Space Dungeon, 7800 Robotron and Champ Games’ 2600 Robotwar 2684 with it. It really is a great controller.

Cool TI stuff @RickR!
@TrekMD great stuff as always! I was on the fence about Professor Mariarti. I really wanted to pick up several games from MWGC but my wallet objected 🙁 Maybe some of the games will still be available later.
Now on to my latest pickup… I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Twin Stick from Edladdin. Six months ago, I bought a pair of 5200 Redemption adapters in anticipation of getting the Twin Stick at some point in the future. Now I am ready to conquer dungeons in space and hordes of robots on the SuperSystem in style. The Twin Stick is actually smaller than I expected. I thought it would be as big as the All-Play 4/8, but it is narrower in width which is great.

Let's just hope it doesn't kill that cat! 😁

I have to look into these. I see there’s one for the X-Wing too.

Arrived Friday. I've read through a bit of the book and like it. IMO, the author does a good job at presenting each "curious" game machine.

Latest pickup...a whole bunch of TI stuff. I have no idea how to work the disk stuff or if it's even worth messing with.

Some pickups at the tail end of April. This is an Atari.io exclusive. It is unlisted on the main channel.

sramirez2008 reacted to TrekMD in New Atari 2600 Homebrew - Gunfight
Blitzer1001 just released Gunfight for the 2600. Download here.
Short Description
In this game inspired by 'wild gunman' on the NES, you'll go face-to-face with 5 different cowboys, each with their own reaction time.
How to play:
Once a cowboy appears, you have to wait until a beep. When you hear the beep, you have to press the red button on your joystick as fast as you can. If you react in time, the cowboy will fall over. If you wait to long, the sky will become red and you'll have to reset the game in order to play again. The goal is to shoot as many cowboys as you can.

sramirez2008 reacted to VK4JJY in Fury 2024 New Game Demo
Hi Guys 🙂
This is the horizontal space shooter I've been working on.
It's in a playable state, with three end of level bosses.
I'm not so sure if I've done so well estimating difficulty.
edit... replaced file

An Atari 8-bit Pico Cart. Do I "need" another multi-cart for Atari? No I do not. But it was inexpensive and I went for it.
