  1. Can't y'all plug em in and test them? Did you ever get some pics?
  2. Making room? I think there's a market for both. Honestly though, Nintendo's behavior is going to reward those who snap up the SNES minis and scalp them. It doesn't reward their fans. There's a reason why Nintendo hasn't competed with Microsoft or Sony since they both started making systems.
  3. Scalper's delight. The price on this thing will be through the roof, and availability (which was scarce) just bottomed out. I honestly can't figure out Nintendo's thinking on this one. They are just turning down money.
  4. Another great vid by 8-bit guy. I had the Super Expander cart, but I probably didn't use it nearly to its full potential. Fascinating how such a small upgrade made such a difference in those days.
  5. I had one, but traded it to a friend and have never come across one in the wild since. I really love the feel of it, but I never bothered because I didn't think the library was very expansive. I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled for some games for ya.
  6. Simple question: I have 2 N64's both working. One of them is missing the reset button, but it has the expansion pack. The other is solid, but it's just the jumper. I wanted to swap them, but I don't want to screw anything up. Is it as simple as just popping them out and swapping them?
  7. NICE! I always liked their quasi-INTV controllers.
  8. Yep, definitely just the classic HBO theme with a drum mix added. One of the things that grabbed me by the nostalgia right off the bat.
  9. Absolutely. Zero single player value makes it pretty high on my worst list. Even Poker and Blackjack was quite playable for a single player.
  10. I spent more than a little time playing Lode Runner on my C-64 back in the long ago. This actually looks like a lot of fun: Anyone else a fan of the classic?
  11. Love the graphic style on this.
  12. No problem! Im binge listening to get caught up!
  13. That demo cart almost makes up for that lot having Donkey Kong (which wont even work on the INTV II). That's a great find for sure!
  14. Seems like a good deal for the price point, as long as it holds together. I'm curious about the charging issue. It might just be a bad battery, I guess.
  15. That thing on the bottom right that looks kinda like a rolled up poster is a hand held?
  16. A podcast attempts to discuss every major release movie of the 80s, one month at a time. They are currently on March, 1981. So lots of content left to cover. https://www.blubrry.com/80sallover/
  17. I added Combat and SMS' Hang On/Safari Hunt.
  18. Ah, here's what I dropped in btw: The DS works fine, I just didn't have a spare charger.
  19. April 21-22nd. So early May would be our kickoff if that sounds good.
  20. This guy is my kind of nerd, so I always love his vids. Check out his install and review of the 7800 composite mod.
  21. I know they are legit, and I'm not a basher...but the website is inexcusably bad (a little unsightly made me giggle). I mean, it's one of the worst websites I've EVER seen, much less for a company trying to do e-commerce. I haven't ordered from them, but if I did it would be via phone, and I've never heard anyone say they got ripped off by them.
  22. This would work out fine for me, and I might be able to even host it this time if we kick it off after my Retropalooza weekend. Should have plenty of goodies.
