  1. Well, um, yeah... Paypal denied my claim, without ever even bothering to ask me for extra evidence.

They never gave me any way to respond to them.

So I'm probably going to disassociate myself from Paypal going forward, if they're just going to unilaterally deny a fraud claim without letting me protest the outcome. Got some choice words about them, but they aren't PG-rated.

I'll try that. Hopefully they'll speak to me.

honestly.. what did you expect buying something from a Chinese scam site? You can buy a refurbished DS at GameStop for $55, which will actually arrive and be legit. This all could have been avoided. I'm so dumbfounded I don't even know what to say.

@Gianna the reason he did was because he got a Google ad for it that looked legit. The price also looked realistically low and not too good to be true. Personally, I wouldn't trust a site like that that I've never heard of before. I almost always prefer to buy things in-person. I don't trust the internet for buying used things unless I can talk directly to the seller like I have done on the forums.

To be completely honest here, I don't understand the point of buying a new 3DS if your old one still worked. Sure, it was a little worn, but unless it didn't play the games correctly I would just keep using and spend the money on something that I don't already own.

I know it's a very common thing to do, trading your old stuff for things in better condition, but I just don't get it.
