  7. So just a little background regarding this video. My kids and I watched every Nintendo direct on our WiiU, it became an event in our house and we were all very excited each time they came on. I kept the kids on Nintendo systems for al long as I could because I wanted them to be kids, I wanted them to be lost in innocence and enjoy the kid and family friendly nature on Nintendo. Iwata, Reggie and Miamoto became stars to the kids and they realized that the long linage of games and characters they love these guys had a hand in all of it. When Iwata died we all cried over here, it was very sad to see his passing. The man that brought so much to our family fun time passed and we all sat there and cried. Because of these Nintendo directs my daughter is studying Japanese to become a translator for Nintendo, thats what she want to do. This is such a touching tribute to his work

  11. Hey gang, trying to solve a mystery here and I thought I'd bring it to the forum and try to figure it out. So today I was at Pixelvault games run by my friend Armando and he had the strangest item Ive seen in the store so far. This was a red plastic briefcase that held a CDI 450 and a track ball controller, along with the power cord that had a euro plug and some interactive game. The case was not amateur work, this was milled to spec and almost perfect. Here is the mystery - Why would anyone go to the trouble to do this for a CDI? Just kidding, not really but second, Could this have been what a salesman would have brought in to show off the system? What do you think something like this is worth? Would love to hear your thoughts.
  12. Yeah I might have to think about that. Right now I'm going over some really great games so it's easy to point out how well these games work. But believe me when the time comes I will be honest and fair. The great thing is I can actually speak from a point of view of actually owing these games when they came out, I'm not just a collector that is talking about pick ups, I actually had to feel the sting of buying a dud game and had to live with it. But if we want to talk about best versions of Beast we should talk about the Turbo Duo version . But I do think the Lynx version is very very good. I will be ending the Arcade port block on Lynx Lounge with Hard Driving... So yeah, ill have a few things to say about that.
  13. Bring it! But dang i need my advantage to dial that turbo in man.
  14. Mason shot and edited his second video yesterday. He's checking out some plug n plays and the Scooby Doo one is actually pretty good.

  16. Had to change the 5k pot on the foot pedal, the car was only going about 70mph and I heeded it to be around 190mph. Got a brand new pot and wouldn't you know it it the stem was just a little too long, like a hair too long - kinda snug, and the twisting ratio from 0 to 100 was just a bit off. Needless to say it took me two days to dial in the pot. It does not sit exactly like to 30 yr old pot did so I had to twist the whole pot about a quarter of an inch in the opposite direction. This was very important to find the sweet spot because you can't start the game without hitting the foot pedal. We are back on track The car is now hitting speeds of 180 to 190, Ill take it. Next step - to recap the monitor or replace it with a LCD screen. I know what you're saying - why would you do that? Power consumption and heat.
  17. So I was guilty of having this... um... game
  18. Now we just need a thread on FMV games from the 90's and we should have it covered - Sega CD and 3DO had it on lockdown.
  19. I would not hang out with any of these people ????
