  1. The characters seam to be staying the same size, it almost looks like the floor and crowd are moving but not the actual characters.
  2. Yeah its very cool, however Im trying to figure out what application its best for. For example, I thought It might be really good for Xevious, its not. Mrs Pac-Man, not bad, Pitfall 2 - nope... But today I was playing it with BallBlazers and it was perfect. The V61 Gripstick Joystick needs its own episode in order to break down what it is, what it does and what games its good for. Im doing research on it... you know, playing lots of games with it, "research".
  3. That is correct, a guest will come over and we will play 7800 games. But because the system plays 2600 as well I want to dip into those games too. The Jag Bar episode of Warlords was a tryout for 7800 Ave. The difference between The Jag Bar and 7800 Ave format wise is I will not have the section where we meet a guest at the bar then play, 7800 Ave will be just a guest joining me to play and getting right into the game and discussing our thoughts at the end. Plus the set will look amazing - lots of brick walls, arcade games and neon.
  4. Big unboxing at 7800 Ave. this week.
  5. Huge unboxing at 7800 Ave. tomorrow!

  6. So even though I had the Lynx very early on it felt like very long stretches of time before any games would come out, at least in my area. I also got a Game Gear, so should I go to Target and find a huge selection of games - none of them were Lynx. I would have to have someone take me to one of two places that carried Lynx games, Toys R Us (totally out of the way) or Electronics Boutique (even more out of the way). This same pattern happened during the Jaguar. I found my self getting more Game Gear games only because it was more accessible in my area. For what it's worth.
  7. What do we think gang? Is this the real thing? http://retrogamingmagazine.com/2015/03/08/prototype-new-version-of-alien-vs-predator-found-for-atari-lynx/ Im guessing he's never played a Lynx due to his snotty attitude and lazy video game journalism, but this is a new find regarding AVP on the Lynx. Sound off Marine.
  8. Ill have to check out the C64 version. Too bad the Lynx never got a Karnov port, another one of my favorites, on my Tandy 1000 of course.

Rygar was always a favorite :) It goes to show you how great Atari could have been with a 16-Bit home console

  11. Rygar on the Lynx Lounge this Friday!

  12. Thanks for getting the word out, more people need to tune into the Jag Bar.
  13. Its been a while since I played this one, I was pretty shocked at how good it looked. This was a very special title that came only to the Jaguar and what a showpiece it was. Can you imagine if all their titles were like this?
  14. System seller... I think so! AVP - Get some!! And check out the AVP review on the blog page http://www.atari.io/atari-jaguar-review-alien-vs-predator-jag-bar/
