My first time ever playing this game. I was surprised to find I have it on PS4. Very fun and impressive for the Genesis. 1,876,600. Working a lot the next 4 days but I'll be all over it after that. 🙂

The wizards at Digital Eclipse have posted stl files for 3D printed paddle mods for Xbox One, Series X/S and Joycon controllers. These mods will give paddle control functionality in Atari50 for games that use them. How cool is that?!

Please remember to TYPE OUT YOUR HIGH SCORE when posting to High Score Squad! We want to get your score right, and prevent mistakes. Scores can be blurry in photos, tricky on the eyes, or hidden deep within play-through videos. Claiming your score 100% prevents confusion.

Good luck to all of the participants! While I was big Genesis guy WAY back in the day, Space Harrier 2 wasn't really my bag. Good title and all, but I never got into it personally.

I feel I really need to be in the mood to play because it is such a slow, methodical game that takes a lot of patience and takes time to get to later levels. But I suppose the original arcade is very similar in that respect. But the arcade game is so tough I never last very long!
I think I prefer Thrustlander because of the huge number of levels and you can continue from your furthest point. But I think Gravitar is really well done and is a solid game.

Personally, I think this is Atari's best take so far on the Gravitar IP. It's also my least played Recharged game. I will definitely submit but my best score so far doesn't crack 20k.
Of course, the best gravity flyer on the VCS is Thrustlander by a light year.

I have to admit this is one of my personally least favorite Recharged games, although the game itself is high quality. I find the repetitiveness and pace of the game to be...slow, and the difficulty walls frustrating. I'll give it a shot though for the competition!

Yep, I have this one as well.  Like you I haven't played it much, maybe 5 minutes if that.  I have no idea what i'm doing in Gravitar, it took me a couple of minutes to figure out that you were supposed to fly into the planets to start different stages.  At first I was trying to avoid them.  🤦‍♂️

Congratulations to everyone who join in our TurboGrafx-16 Magical Chase High Score Squad challenge! I hope all of you who joined us for this Squad Challenge had a magical time playing! I take the top spot in our Final Standings with a score of 212,420 points. @Atari 5200 Guy was hot on my tail, almost taking that top spot with his score of 209,260 points. Way to go on your Magical Chase performance @Atari 5200 Guy! @Gianna came in with a hard-fought 159,680 points, taking 3rd Place in our Final Standings, and @RickR got his TurboGrafx-16 all set up and joined us for this challenge, posting an impressive score of 42,030 points! Congratulations to all who played, I hope everybody had fun playing TurboGrafx-16 again in High Score Squad!
Special "Thank You" to everyone here for keeping the Squad Challenge going, and to @Sabertooth who is doing yeoman's work continuously hosting wonderful Squad Challenges and other fun events in our new Club VCS!
