I was finally able to shovel snow for the first time all winter yesterday morning (a little over 3” fell) & we’re due for some more tonight. This has been a HORRIBLE winter for a snow-lover, of which I am (I’ve never outgrown that amazing feeling of waking up to snow outside & news that school is cancelled for the day).

I never out grew that feeling either.  Good excuse to stay home and catch up on some gaming. ;)

We got 20" in January.  A few days later a few more inches.  Then sunshine.  After that nothing but ice.  My car was literally froze to our parking lot.  Ice everywhere.  We were authorized not to go anywhere until further notice.  I couldn't have if I wanted to.  You couldn't step outside without stepping on ice no matter what.  It was bad.  One of our maintenance guys slipped and fell the following morning.  He suffered a fractured skull and is going through rehab right now and is said to be doing so for about another 3 weeks.  So this weather has been very nasty and unusual this year for our area.

That snow looks cool.  Would have been better if it had actually been there for the holidays.  It keeps this up the Easter bunny isn't going to have any trouble finding places to hide those eggs.
