nosweargamer Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 (I also shared this on my No Swear Gamer thread, but I'm sure not everyone follows it) Did you know that certain copies of Choplifter will glitch out on certain 7800 systems? It seems to only be 1987 copies on certain systems. I haven't been able to try a 1988 copy, but from what I understand, they all play fine. You can see the results above. By the way, the same cartridge played perfectly on a second 7800 I own. RickR Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 You ever notice that no emulator can do "One on One Basketball" correctly? They all play the game at double speed. I notice because, well, it's my favorite 7800 game.
Yo-Yo Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 Rick, out of curiosity how did one on one become your favorite 7800 game out of all those awesome arcade games? Not ragging on you at all just interested to know more
RickR Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 Well, it's one of my all time favorite games on the Atari 8-bit. Loved that the game is almost the same on C64 and Apple II as well. I had some epic battles against friends in college with that game. So here comes the 7800 version, with updated graphics. LOVE IT. Love me some backboard breaking, shot swatting, 360 dunking action. You can do so much with just one button. Great game.
