I'm a long-time idler at AtariAge but decided to come over here and see what it was all about after I heard about it on one of the game-by-game podcasts (I think it might've been on Phil's?). I've got a nice 2600 collection, some 7800 and Atari 8-bit computer stuff, recently got a Jaguar, and am still trying to figure out what to do with my ST. I also just got a stand-alone Video Pinball console, which I'm now in love with (it's seriously impressive, and a lot of fun). I'm also a programmer, and I like learning how 2600 games work, although I rarely finish anything except for graphics effects. In my spare time, I write music and do retro game reviews on YouTube. And a picture of that pinball game -- sounds cool.A cool thing about the ST -- you can create floppy disks on your PC to run on the ST. I started a topic right here-- hope someone likes 'em! http://forums.atari.io/index.php/topic/1094-cool-and-unusual-games/ Re: the ST: I've gotten a few games to work, and I've got my trusty Windows 98 machine ready to write out disks. I just have trouble finding games that either are exclusive or work better on the ST than Amiga. I think SWIV might be one of those, and I think Vroom and Stunt Car Racer work better on ST too. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Star Raiders game for it though, and that is definitely not available on the Amiga! Other exclusive games I've tried are Oids and Super Sprint. One thing I do like about the ST is there doesn't seem to be as much of a PAL-NTSC issue than on the Amiga. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
