I got a 5200 in 2007. In fact, I got two, as I got both a 4 port and a 2 port system. I have always liked the games for the console as it has some unique titles and some exclusive ports as well. I was aware of the issues with the controllers, so I immediately got the gold upgrade for mine. I also got a WICO controller. The main issue is the controller does not self-center, something that Atari was working on but never released due to the crash. Overall, though, I'm happy with the system.

That makes sense. Remember that on this version the robots do fire diagonally as well. That adds to the challenge. I can play this one on emulation since I have the binary. It was sent to me so I could write an article covering it on Old School Gamer. In fact, the issue with the article is out now. 🙂

Like all insurance companies. They just want to make money off you and find any and every excuse to not pay when needed.

It was patched up waiting on the insurance company and then tarped. I got fed up of waiting and decided to move forward with the repairs until I settled with them. The settlement finally happened. The best part is that this is no longer my insurer, so they can't cancel the policy on me. 😆

Apparently, the game is not well rated. That's unfortunate because the movie was really good!

I've saved this to watch later.

Positive stuff from 2023? My roof finally got done! The insurance settled after 3 years and the job got done. Now my solar panels are going back up as well. In fact, the job is going to be done while still on vacation. On the professional side, I had another doctor join my group so we could keep up with the pace of referrals we get. So, it's good the office continues to do well.

It sure is! I am hopeful it does get a release sometime soon.

Wow, I am old enough.

I've always enjoyed this version of the game. There's a homebrew version that is almost complete that is as arcade-accurate as it gets.

The Holidays are one of the best times to come to the island. 🙂 You should plan on it!

Well, I finally watched this. Sweet story with no words spoken. If I read correctly, this was from 1984?

I went with my parents yesterday to eat at a restaurant called "3 Pueblos" here in Puerto Rico. It's a top a mountain and you can see three towns, hence the name. We also went to have ice cream at a nearby town...
