  1. Nintendo Entertainment System fans, I just discovered this channel with this recent video but if it's not a title you have nostalgia for be sure to check other videos in his channel. High quality videos with soothing narration conveying nostalgic stories and presentation. Had to share!

I finally have something good to share here.

A trip to Carlton, which is a tiny rural town right in the middle of Oregon wine country.  I had to drop off a big pile of TI parts to a fellow that lives out there, and we made a nice little day trip out of it.

Lunch was at a nice place called "The Horse Radish Eatery", where everything is made on-site.  I had a Carlton club, my wife the pastrami.  Delicious!  And of course a pic of my car 🙂

    Looks awesome Rick!

  3. I've Had AMIGA Forever and C64 Forever by CLOANTO emulation packages on my main desktop for some time, had it and  still do on the previous desktop as well, now relegated to the bedroom. So I really didn't need them also on the Asus Tuf 15' laptop....but last night I thought eh why not and installed it on that as well 🧐sometimes, I just like loading an Amiga or C64 DEMO even if it's just to let play in the background while I do other things 🤷‍♂️AND YES I have been dabbling with emulation since running a C64 emulator on my AMIGA back in the day but the CLOANTO packages are just so easy and convenient to load up. (SHOWN AMIGA DEMO playing on main desktop tonight)

As someone who played (endured?) Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi in 1997 on the original PlayStation 😂We might finally have something here to at least partially make up for that abomination. An impressive Fan made (for PC) Star Wars Fighting game! 😲😎

Just watched this and though it was cool enough to share!

May the 4th be with you! Watch the trailer for my newest edit: STAR WARS: THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY - THE FINAL CUT. "THE FINAL CUT" sets out to create the ultimate STAR WARS viewing experience by combining the best aspects of both the "Special Editions" and the Theatrical versions of each film in the acclaimed ORIGINAL TRILOGY. Controversial changes such as Greedo shooting first, Vader yelling "nooo!", distracting CGI additions, and many others have been removed and restored to their original THEATRICAL VERSIONS – while beneficial changes such as updated visual effects, added dialogue, and extended scenes have all been retained from the newer "SPECIAL EDITION" releases. Other subtle new enhancements have been added that are not present in any officially released version. Please enjoy this first look at the never-before-seen cut of the Star Wars Original Trilogy, remastered in 4K Ultra-HD – coming May 25th (the original 'Star Wars Day').

I LOVE some good fan edits, done with love and respect of the source material, like this. Also, that narrator was epic and sounded just like I'd have expected back in the day!

Original Xbox was the last time it was fun, or a thing, that I can remember.

Hah my memory is totally mud these days because although I thought these were all the DEMO discs I had SEEING YOUR POST, I am reminded I have a big box of OG XBOX stuff, couple consoles, accessories and YES several Xbox demo discs just like you are showing here, ah heck I will go take a picture right now and post....

Thanks for the reminder 🧐Never ended up having an Xbox during the original run, yet I collected many magazines that I no longer have, but I still have THESE 😁

Along the top are the ONLY retail games, found GTA # and Vice City combo pack in a thrift shop and received MechAssualt with some trades years ago but all the rest are Magazine DEMO DISCS, even some with 360 demo as old Xbox was starting to get phased out. To this day, I do not own a 360 🤷‍♂️😝

  8. This is just a sampling of the discs I have for PlayStation 2 and PCs. Used to buy a lot of video game magazines back in the day and I loved getting these discs stuffed full of samples, for computers, various software and games and of course for PlayStation 2 various game demos.

I definitely used to have a bunch for Dreamcast, but I don’t think I have any of those left anymore, pretty sure this is the last box that I have, a lot of the computer software would obviously be useless now being very old versions and some of it even nonexistent it’s still a fun and nostalgic look back at how we used to sample such things before broad band high speed Internet, access, high-speed, and so accessible to everyone.  It was a box for a pair of boots that I had bought, so it’s a pretty large box and pretty much every disc in here is in mint condition or at least very good condition with the sleeves. Of course, sometimes it wasn’t a demo for a game it might just be a video sample  of gameplay or in between cinematic. Fun times. Anyone out there still have some old demo disc lying around?
