  1. I say this knowing full well that I'm likely the odd duck here. So what else is new 🤣🤷 I am simply answering what I personally use but I am not suggesting or necessarily recommending it. It's great for the right person obviously me, but I love my Logitech m570 trackball. People either love or hate trackballs that's not for me to decide however, I have found it's the type of thing people either love or hate and originally I would have thought no way but after getting used to it, it is my peripheral of choice for desktop use and great to illiminate carpal tunnel syndrome also interestingly enough you'll see in the image here an old iPhone 6 😃it is used for nothing else except I use a little app called "remote mouse" which by connecting through the Wi-Fi of my router recognizes my desktop (the USB is connected only to supply power since the battery drains fast) and thus allows this old otherwise pretty much useless iPhone to be used as an amazing touchpad! just as you would have on any laptop, this is also quite useful to me as I am very adept at using touchpads since I do a lot on laptops.
  2. Those INTEL NUCS are wicked little mighty machines. For all daily tasks as well as emulation and light gaming you are good to go!
  3. So noticing the prices are in pounds, does this mean in the UK the 2600 Jr. came with 7800 ProLine style controllers? 🤔
  4. 😲W. K. Haselden’s ‘The Pocket Telephone: When Will it Ring?’ was first published in The Mirror, 1919
  5. Safe to say I am guilty of this sin! 🤣

  7. Just seen this really cool video and had to share. 😲🤩 I'm Atari Kiosk ready!... well just need the kiosk now. I was able to get this excellent condition LaserDisc that was used in the Atari kiosks at retail stores by Atari dealers back in 1982. This interactive LaserDisc demonstated how the Atari 400/800 computers were a must have for you and your family. Included in this video, I've created a high quality video capture in its entirety. 00:00 - Intro 00:23 - Overview & Background 02:18 - Close Look at the LaserDisc and Jacket 04:32 - Atari ERIC POP Full Version
  8. I saw this literally minutes ago and had to laugh it was so obvious. While it may not exactly be an Intellivision I think it is pretty clear someone in the prop department must be an Intellivision fan 😆It goes by quick but it was obvious enough I went thought "Hold up a sec, is that?......" so I paused and took a screen grab. ODDLY it's supposed to be a movie playing device which makes the controllers very questionable 🤔 🤨🤷‍♂️ Now to be clear, it's a new movie trailer for a movie on Peacock and after watching the trailer it was enough for me personally to say "Er, I think I'll pass" BUT I thought it might not be noticed by many and if anything this might be the best thing about it so I thought I would share it. Now, you can watch the trailer and see for yourself (about 1 min in) I have also attached a screen grab for convenience. Maybe this could have been Intellivision in the future or perhaps an alternate reality version, I think what I would really like to see is a modder with much greater skills than I turn a normal basic Intellivision into a copy of this one (perhaps using one that is already blemished or defective as to not alter a good one) but anyway I just found it amusing. Trailer (pause about 1 min in) The money shot: Feel free of course to add your own Intellivision consoles or variations or obvious tributes to the console as seen in Movies or TV shows. I personally cannot recall any others off the top of my head, has an INTV II ever appeared in any? Would love to see that. Of course the the classic Atari 2600 has been spotted in TONS of films and TV shows, heck even the Colecovision is seen in the movie Firestarter with Drew Barrymore but I don't think the good old Intellivision got much representation? Maybe I am wrong, let's see what you got!
  9. TSK TSK you can't sneak it by, nice try! Man, this parody has been around a long time. Anywho just came to drop this one. ! IF I POST ANY MORE THAN ONCE AND SOMEONE NOTICES LET ME KNOW! SO MANY ARE BEING POSTED I MIGHT NOT KEEP TRACK! 😛🤷‍♂️

Funny you should say that 😝 as I am JUST getting over some type of Stomach Flu or bug, past 2 weeks it's been just liquids and light foods, I had it BAD, like I actually vomited, last time I vomited from Flu or Virus I was a child as typically I got a cast iron stomach. About a week in I made the mistake of eating too heavily thinking I was mostly better and BAM total relapse, nausea, diarrhea but today woke up feeling I'd say 80% better, so much so I have been in an a productive mood, doing laundry, did dishes, cleaned bedroom night tables and dressers, just thankful to say feeling uncommonly chipper and motivated after being in lazy recovery for too long. Will have a light meal later. So HOPING FINGERS CROSSED I am on the other side of it now. Also from eating like a bird the past week+ I definitely lost extra weight through this time, Melissa has been noticing of late, I am not one to weigh myself and don't even recall the last time I did but out of curiosity I decided to and let's just say I am a couple of pounds less than I ever thought I'd be for what I consider my normal so bonus I guess 🤷‍♂️🤨I recorded it for reference but I am considering it my "sick" weight, will see if I level off or maintain but for now I can easily say I am currently about 30 pounds lighter then when I was pushing maximum density back in 2012 or so before switching to intermittent fasting, cutting out sugars and other lifestyle changes to help with diabetes etc. Gotta take the wins where I can get them these days right?

As Tony the Tiger used to say, "I'm great!"  I got a whole 48 hours to myself with no work, no chores and no social obligations.  I'm gonna eat, sleep, play, print, read and goof off!

  11. 🤔🤨Question, ever noticed on Youtube going through recent videos to watch that you are subscribed to a channel you do not recall subscribing to?

No, but if I did I'd attribute it to my declining memory.

Yes and I believe this is intentional. I have channels created for specific uses - for example, one YouTube channel just for my living room - these channels will be subscribed to zero channels, and after a year there will be a few subs to very large, mainstream entities that YouTube likes too promote. They're like "shadow subs".

Ah ok, it's something I have heard others claim as well and honestly, before I noticed it I too assumed it was just something "forgotten" however there have been some that there was simply no way I'd have subbed to, yes I have a TON of subscriptions but there is just no way in hell I'd subscribe to certain channels as they have only ever had content that is of zero interest, which is why I knew immediately something was up. 🤨

  12. Just finished imaging the OS on the Legion desktop the Asus laptop and the bedroom PC. Oh yeah! Regular imaging back ups. I love it. Also, I am a nerd. 😝😎😂🤷

  13. Well that's putting it nicely, classic R.E. voice acting is renowned for being horrible 😂all part of the campy fun these days. The first 3 games are great.
  14. Our 3 month old "NEW" Desktop 😝😎 Truth be told this video should have been uploaded about three months ago. I have no excuse for not having uploaded it sooner besides procrastination. Though at least now I can say that having lived with the machine this past three months++, I am very happy and satisfied thus far. While certainly not the highest-end machine for our needs it is a nice little step up from the previous CyberPowerPC desktop which it replaces. I give some details regarding the specifications of both machines, as well as why the replacement and just a little bit of my usual droning on and on about things. So please, enjoy, I figured why not upload this now since it's been another long while since you've heard from me, hope you're all doing well, until next time.
