    Does anyone here own a STEAMDECK? I don't sadly but I am still fascinated by it and this recent video gets into another great use for it, EMULATION! VIDEO DESCRIPTION - Atari Jaguar emulation and Atari Jaguar CD emulation took huge strides in 2023 with BigPEmu, the best Atari Jaguar emulator...and today you can play Atari Jaguar games on Steam Deck with EmuDeck 2.2 and BigPEmu! SO let me show you how to get it set up! When enough of you keep asking me for the SAME THING I try to listen...so here we go; Steam Deck coverage! But of course this is a retro gaming channel so it's not like we are going to talk about modern PC Gaming on the Steam Deck...we are going to talk about the new updates to EmuDeck as we now have EmuDeck 2.2 with Sega Model 3 emulation via the Supermodel Emulator, Sega Model 2 emulation with Model 2 emulator, More Dreamcast and NAOMI emulation with the Flycast emulator and Atari Jaguar emulation with BigPEmu!

    just got a nice screen protector for my iPad mini. After taking about 40 min to assure no air bubbles or dust were present I managed to apply it, very pleased with result. Best of all with the stylus has a little drag now and matte finish so not so smooth like on glass, feels more like paper. Tested to make sure, hey I’m no pro but it’s honest art at least 😛to be fair I used the simplest drawing program, no layers or magnification, literally the same as drawing with colored pencils so I am pleased. At least I can make something without a reference. 🤷🏼‍♂️

       Poop. I just checked, no DNS error but broken from what it was when I initially posted it. Shame. For the past few months it was pretty much a multi-emulator in your browser, you know like those HDDs you can buy (or set up your own) multi-arcade and consoles emulation setup with everything from art to backgrounds to screenshots and animated previews, just select the platform, select from a large library of games and start playing. I stumbled on it a while back and even waited a couple months just to be sure it was legit and sticking around. Shame, hope it comes back at some point. It was much like this screenshot but in your browser, pre-configured, even my plugged-in gamepad just worked. Ah well, best intentions....

       

      Very much like this but in browser, free, no weird pop ups even with adblocker off and I had checked for malicious verus etc. Seemed clean, sure it seemed to good to be true as well. I had even found someone posted a video about it. No idea how long it was previously up for. 

      Here is video from 2 months ago, hopefully just down for maintenance....

      I get THIS currently, let's hope it comes back eventually......

      I been checking daily with no good results until now. Curiously at this moment, it redirects to

      Though nowhere near as slick or featured as when I posted the original link at least there is something to work with so I am posting here immediately as obviously there are no guarantees on how long it will remain up. 🤷‍♂️At the redirected URL (or simply go direct to the new one) choose the platform, pick a game from the alphabetized listing and lastly click PLAY NOW. 

      See 3 screens below showing it working as I mentioned.

    I've no stake in this since I do not have VCS however, of course, I follow everything Atari and have followed the entire history of the Atari VCS release including all of the plus and minuses of the platform. I always thought I wanted to be prepared just in case I ever end up with one. Windows on an external drive or perhaps some other OS is a nice option many seem to have tried, of course, Chimera Linux is an excellent choice with it being a great alternative with Valve dragging its feet on releasing an official PC version of Steam OS. An excellent idea and as you have already confirmed seems to work well. Thanks for sharing.

    Very unexpected package arrived today. Turned out to be a belated Birthday gift from my wonderful wife. My birthday was this past Feb 11th and was fine, little did I know my wife conspired with my buddy Ray who is a fan and collector of the related item enclosed and so worked with my wife to get this to me. I don't handle surprises well in most cases due to my anxiety, I NEED routine but in this case, I make an exception, she's so sweet and after 20 years of marriage lucky she still puts up with me lol.
