Decided to take a small break from Atari and hooked up the Intellivision. Might as well share my modest collection!

greenween reacted to Atari 5200 Guy in During My College Years
Hi guys,
I thought I would share some of the work I did while I was in college from '09 to '13. Atari stuff, and video games in general, played a huge role in my homework. I was taking Web Design and Interactive Media - Associate's Degree but was often asked why I didn't take game design. I never thought about it really and was not aware of the game design program offered until I was already half-way through the program. All work was done while I was learning Photoshop.
So...I will share one I did for my FB cover art first. Others may not be video game related and I'm not sure where this post should be so I put it here.
I'll post more as I find them.

Ballblazer and Commando are two 7800 must-haves. The both use POKEY sound and they are excellent games.

The 7800 is an excellent console that had a lot of untapped potential due to how things were on Atari back then. Be sure to check for homebrews over on Atari Age as there are plenty that are truly fantastic. If you like Pac-Man games, you need to get Pac-Man Collection.

All those are nice extras there. For B-17 Bomber you need to have an Intellivoice Module, greenween. The game has audio cues that are important to the gameplay.

I'm just sendin' em to ya. Do you have the voice module for B-17?

I've got these ones extra if you need them:
Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
B-17 Bomber
Beauty & The Beast
Demon Attack
Microsurgeon
Night Stalker
Star Strike

Do you have an extra copy of Deadly DIscs you'd sell or trade?

Yeah, the Intellivision gatefold boxes are good quality and lasted quite a while. Also the attached controllers and power cord means you usually find the old Model 1s good to go.

I honestly thought I had it and was looking forward to playing it!! I love the flip open boxes that came with these games. Maybe that's why they're so easy to find CIB?

My collection. Not too extensive, to be honest.

My boxed games for now.
I really need to get some form of organizing done.

If you decide to snag on, they aren't prohibitively expensive. You can usually get the module itself for 20ish, and the games aren't rare so around 10 each boxed.

greenween reacted to TeddyGermany in Must Own Intellivision Games?
Hello!
I recommend D2K from Electronite. Ok, it is a homebrew and it could be difficult to get a copy, but it is worth the try.
Beauty and the Beast is also a funny platformer
Nightstalker is a brilliant shooter. Demon Attack is a worthy challenger to Atari's Phoenix.
Q*Bert is also a nice game on the Intellivision.
Take a look at the AD&D Games. They are impressive for the time they were produced.

Congrats, by the way, on joining the brotherhood! Intellivision is the best!

greenween reacted to Starbuck66 in Must Own Intellivision Games?
So I got an Intellivision for Christmas (the original model), and I wondered what games are a must own for it? I have the Flashback, so I was going to focus on titles that weren't on the Flashback first. Burgertime is probably the game I wanted to get the most, and I also have a copy of Tron Deadly Discs (with no overlays sadly), but other than that I'm not sure what to pick up first? I was also thinking about The Dreadnaught Factor, Microsurgeon, and Lock N Chase? Any other suggestions are appreciated!

greenween reacted to Retro Play in Is Gamma-Attack worth $500,000?
I just can't believe that DeNardo, owner of the only know game cartridge of Gamma-Attack thinks that his cart is worth $500,000! Top value of this game is listed at $130.00+.

Well...game play footage is not of the quality I was after but it works.
Came close. 79,280. I'll try again but might just take a screenshot. Not sure yet. Making the videos are fun.
And in case you are wondering, yes the video is too far to the left. I was going to try out a new program that BB introduced me too. I was going to have the box art remain present on the right side. But the program kept crashing while exporting the final video work so that idea never happened. I resorted back to Windows Movie Maker until I can figure out why the other program keeps crashing.
