  1. This one is really dumb, but I want to ask if anyone knows what the heck is going on with that right crock on the floor.
  2. The only other thing I can think of is to update the controller firmware (you have to do it manually via the settings menu).
  3. I think it's $35 to get free shipping now.
  4. Let me know if you agree. Orig seems a lot faster. Maybe I'm just more tired today.
  5. 7160 - ORIGINAL Berzerk game 3. Honestly, I find this one a lot harder than the enhanced version
  6. I thought it would be worthwhile to start a topic here for the 8 Bit Guy videos. He's been around a LONG time and his videos are excellent. In this latest episode, there's a lot of honesty and information about YouTube revenue. For example, did you know the "shorts" and TikTok videos aren't directly monetized? Maybe that's why those services push them.
  7. And lets not forget the awesome Trakball they made for 5200. It feels like a real arcade controller.
  8. I used the old controllers to keep everyone else from playing. Swing them around by the cord and bonk people on the head. This is one way to win!
  9. From the "I never expected THIS to happen" files:
  10. Dang! You pay good money and then they balk when you need them most. Give me a break. Enjoy the solid roof and those solar panels. Cheers!
  11. Those are both really great news! Has your roof been tarped for the last 3 years?
  12. Highly rated and inexpensive security camera. This wireless camera (TP-Link's Tapo C120) delivers premium features including smart detection, 2K video, and color night vision for just $40. https://www.techhive.com/article/2189844/tapo-c120-indoor-outdoor-wi-fi-home-security-camera-review.html
  13. Lots of bad stuff going on in our world, both on a big scale and at a personal level. But forget that if you can for one moment and share at least one good thing that happened to you in 2023. It can be gaming related or not. I'll start with a couple of things: On the personal side, I have made some serious progress on flight anxiety issues. In 2023, I got on planes for two vacations. Although limited to west coast travel only, this was a BIG step for me. And also getting on a cruise ship for a week. Gaming side: I succeeded in some downsizing this year. Both my ST and Amiga collections are GONE. I've been telling you, this is going to be a slow process for me, but progress is being made.
  14. Yes! It feels like the real deal. My Genesis controller situation was the most dire of the three, so that one was sorely needed.
  15. I bought these three from Stone Age Gamer a few months ago to refresh my tired old controllers for NES/SNES/Genesis. So far, all three have been really good.
  16. Right? Me too! I don't think I'd need any training.
  17. This one came up in my youtube feed. It is fascinating! I bit more well done than most local news stories about video games of that time. You'll see a lot of familiar faces at Atari, including Howard Scott Warshaw with a whip! This was made as the 5200 was being developed, so you'll see some clips from the 5200 game developers.
  18. Congrats to @Sabertooth, and everyone who participated! This is a fun game, with some great options and interesting updates. As for me: "Not last place!" is something to celebrate!!!
