Finally dragged out my PS2 again, after making sure it was totally dried out, only to discover the only controller I have seems to have totally crapped out. Which is just great. I guess I'm back on the market for a PS2 controller, and in the meantime, no PS2 games.

A tree has fallen on our house. I believe my entire videogame collection may have been destroyed.

Things are settling down a bit. The tree is being removed today. In better news, I managed to ascertain that my games are all apparently fine, aside from several cases getting wet. My Wii and PS2 are sitting out to dry. Sadly, my two VCS's had water literally pouring out of them. Hopefully they weren't destroyed, but 40 year old electronics? It probably isn't too good.

Games might be okay, but nearly all my consoles were soaked. Only my Xbox and Intellivision escaped getting wet. I figure I've lost my Wii and PS2 completely. They were in standing water.

My best friend - not a gamer - is in Tokyo on business. He wrote that he's popping into Super Potato to see if he can find something for me. Last year he brought me home a Famicom. I can't wait to see what he picks up this year.
