NOT MINE ! I thought those here who do not visit Atariage may not be aware of this release. I think this game looks and form the description SOUNDS pretty damn good so if you are interested in getting your hands on the ROM to check it out yourself here is a link to the source thread over on AA.
    https://atariage.com/forums/topic/298966-the-end-2600-new-homebrew-game/
Below I have pasted the screen shot as well as the description from the creators post HOWEVER I have not linked the roms, I think it only fair if you
want to get those at the very least you can go to the original thread to obtain the roms and give a LIKE or comment some appreciation. 😉😎
as such things should be encouraged.

    --- PASTED FROM SOURCE --

    Hello all !

Here is a new homebrew game I made for the Atari 2600 that I named THE END 2600.
It is based on the 1980 Konami version of the arcade game THE END.

Attached you will find the release candidate #1 of this game in NTSC and PAL60 versions.

    OBJECTIVE:
To destroy aliens attempting to steal bricks from your defense bases.
The aliens will arrange stolen bricks to spell out  "END" at the top of the screen.
You start the game with 3 spaceships.
An extra ship will be awarded when you reach 5,000 points.
Use your joystick to move your spaceship left of right and press the button to fire to the aliens.
Game is over when all your spaceships are destroyed or "END" is spelled out by the aliens.

    THE POINTS:
Each alien destroyed scores 40, 60 or 100 points.
Destroying aliens carrying a stolen brick scores double.
Destroying MotherShip scores 10 to 100 points plus the same amount awarded for each brick needed to spell out "END"

    ANOTHER DETAILS:
Each level is represented by a "wave".
Every 5 "waves", the MotherShip will come down to attack your spaceship. If you destroy it, a "round" of 5 "waves" will be completed.
When a new "round" begins, the aliens with have to start spelling "END" all over again.

The game is complete and fully playable.
It has 40 levels and is fast and very challenging.
The game is not exactly in graphics as the arcade version but the gameplay is. Also I have added some animations that are not in the arcade.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it !
Please tell me your feedback about the game and let me know if the game is too easy or too hard or if you find any bugs in the game.

Let's see those high scores !!

Just seen this over on AA 🙄sadly my initial post suggested using the ROM in emulation OR Flash / Harmony cart but apparently it is NOT compatible with the HARMONY.
To remedy this user Batari has provided a Harmony only version with custom back switched code added to the rom itself ( his words, I don't know what any of it means 😛 )
I have not seen anyone respond or confirm YET so take it as you will, I will give it a go when I have the time, likely not anytime soon but if you have a Harmony Cart and are
curious to try yourself the rom is attached OR see the link below for original thread should you wish to go thank batari yourself (or update if it works or not etc) 😎👍🍻

Arenafoot reacted to Kid A in Got me a Ms. Pac-Man cab!
So a buddy of mine calls me up and asked me if I wanted his non working Ms Pac-Man cab. The deal was that if I fixed it, he could play it whenever he came down, which I had no problem with. This is what the cab looked like when I got it.

The cab was pretty beat up. Just running my hand across the sides made the paint fall off of it. Someone had painted the entire cab black.

As you can see the cab was in pretty bad shape. So even before I tried to make the thing actually work, I painted it black. I primered it first before doing so.

At this point I actually tried to make it work. I found some wires that looked like they were spliced into. I figured these were the connections for power. There was no power plug when I got it. I got a PC power cable, cut the end off and spliced it into the existing cuts in the wiring. When I plugged it in, it powered on...however with some problems..

The screen was all distorted. I had found 10 different knobs in the back of the arcade. I turned all of them to see if it would fix it. Nothing did. I thought maybe they all have to be dialed in perfect. After 3 days of messing with these knobs, I was getting frustrated. I was staring at the back of the cab when I saw this metal bracket with a hole in it. I shined a flashlight through the hole and I saw a potentiometer with a screwdriver slot on it. I grabbed a screwdriver and turned it clockwise and it made it worse. So I went counterclockwise all the way and it made the screen totally clear! ...with some minor distorted on the right part of the screen . Just had to slightly turn it back clockwise to get rid of the distortion

After that I spent a few minutes to dial in the colors properly.
At this point, I got a proper power cable for the cab and installed it.
The control panel overlay was pretty dirty and torn so that got replaced. Put some new buttons too.

When I got done with that, I wanted to go all out. I ended up getting a repro glass bezel and installed it. The repro is very high quality. Very happy with it.

My friend had got this thinking if he couldn't fix it, he was going to keep the Marquee and get rid of it. Knowing that I got this machine for free, I got a new Marquee and gave him the original. Got a high score save kit as well.

Last thing I got was the panel art and new T molding. When I got the art in, I realized that if I were to install the front part as is, the coin door chop off the forehead of Ms. Pac-Man. So I had to raise the coin door 4.5 inches.

I also was able to hide the bolts that hold the coin bucket in place below the surface of the wood so I didn't have to shove them to the front of the artwork. Once that was done I installed the art along with the new t molding. When I installed the cab was finally finished!

I wish the color of the panel art was a closer match to the control panel overlay, but in the end, I think it came out pretty awesome. I'm forever grateful that my buddy gave me this arcade. It's definitely in my top 3 favorite arcade games of all time. It was a lot of work putting this thing together
Here's a side by side of the before and after!

Good to know, thanks!  I just tried it out with fresh batteries and it work just fine.

I also checked, and that's a standard Atlantis cart -- not Atlantis II

A very good day yesterday.  I found a bunch of good stuff as seen below.

Check out this incredible Pac Man record I found.  Copyright is 1980.  I mostly bought it just for the artwork on the sleeve.  Overall, in poor condition, but it will look nice on my game room shelf.

The Imagic games were a really lucky find, as I had those two games' boxes in very bad shape and with no plastic insert.  So I created my own cardboard inserts and cleaned them up as best I could.  And now I've got 5 boxed Imagic titles.

Goodwill came through again for me today. Awesome find. Sadly it's missing the game. If anyone has the game and case I'd be interested in maybe doing a trade. I've got plenty of stuff

You did great @Arenafoot! This overlap between Homebrew Forum and 2600 Form etc. has been a paradox that we've been trying to sort out for a while and make a change. When I put the site together I created the Homebrew Forum thinking this would be THE place where people go to talk about the Homebrew scene. A lot of people post to the 2600 Forum instead, (or whatever forum the system is that the homebrew is for.) I've considered making the Homebrew Forum exclusively for development, but that seems just as confusing. Your posts are fine either way, just needed to merge two great conversations into one.

I guess I could have put it in the Atari 2600 forum instead of the homebrew forum, though its a prototype and not a homebrew. I'm just used to covering homebrews and hacks. 😉

The original XBOX made it, too.  Two great consoles that deserve it.  One invented the game industry, the other changed the rules.  Pretty cool.

So I was in the game and I spoke with the developer (his player name is "ro"). Apparently the time shown for the scheduled games is adjusted automatically for your time-zone.

There was as many as 4 of us in the lobby when they put the game up a few hours ago, but now I think we might need to schedule a game if we want to find other players.

I played this with a Twitch streamer in an earlier version.  It was a blast!  At one point we had 3 players LAN party style.  No gotchas.
