  1. I wouldn't mind a paddle for my 5200 Tempest cartridge. Where do I get ahold of one of those and how much do they go for?
  2. Yeah, the .STL was never printed/verified by the author, but I assumed it would be right. My mistake as you can see below...
  3. Well it was SUPPOSED to be a cartridge holder for my 5200 cartridges. Sadly I had to abort it with 10 hours and 49 minutes remaining. When I was eyeballing it the size seemed to small, so I paused the print and checked it with a cartridge... sure enough... too small. Grrrrrrrrrr! 🤬
  4. Woo Hoo! Only 13 Hours and 35 minutes remaining!
  5. Yep, when a company goes above and beyond expectations, word gets around and brand loyalty is fostered. Sad thing is companies these days are being penny wise and pound foolish.
  6. Since this is a thread just for TrekMD, I thought I'd post this unique photo of the Trek Super-Duo taken ant an odd angle.
  7. << THIS >> pdf MIGHT HELP YOUR NEED FOR A FIX! 😉
  8. I only have one question... how much does it cost?
  9. ** UPDATE ** I found an .STL for a ten cartridge holder! I usually print using .2mm fine detail or better, but that would take around 24 hours, not something I'm all that excited about, so I sliced it for .3mm draft mode, because the case isn't going to be on display anyway, I just need it for function behind the doors of the armoire. It'll still take 15 hours and 45 minutes to print, so I'll start it after I get home from work on Monday.
  10. These are the homemade labels I've have on my cartridges for the past few years (as shown in the old photo below).
  11. Maybe because 5200 cartridges never came with end labels, maybe because the system was not that popular. But one of my next tasks is to comb the internet for a suitable display rack to modify in my slicer for my Atari 5200 cartridges, because as of now, I've been unable to locate a ready made display rack, and while I don't use many of my physical cartridges, I don't like shoving them all in a box.
  12. Well, if I were you guys I'd pass on the camera. While the image is okay for a cellphone, there does not no appear to be a way to view live images on your PC, at least without the cloud function that I have no interest in. Also the companies shipping times are the worst. In the end I would not recommend this camera.
  13. ... well and all you other Star Trek Fans. I figured we needed a dedicated place to post some really cool Star Trek videos & stuff. I'll start it off with...
  14. Okay everyone, prepare to be totally blown away on this one. First a little back story, the singer Amy Lee from "Evanescence" has a powerful and haunting voice. The Japanese "Wagakki Band" mixes traditional Japanese instruments with contemporary western instruments for a heavy to metal sound. Combine those, with the full orchestra they have behind them in this video and you might just reach another level of bliss when you hear this. CRANK IT UP!
  15. Yeah, something is up for sure, the item has been taken down.
  16. I'm guessing here, but I doubt the person who originally stole it back in 1978 was the one putting it up for auction. Because the person who stole it is probably a senior citizen, if not dead by now. Also the thief had to know it's value and that putting such an iconic piece of Americana online would attract unwanted attention. Now it could very well be part of an estate sale by a family member, who knows. But yeah, it's interesting. Sorry, but I had to re-orient the photo, it was driving me nuts.
  17. Sad, but so true! If somebody wanted me to walk around and advertise for them, they would have to give me the shirt and PAY me to wear it. Even as a kid I could never understand paying $125.00 for pair of jeans just so I could advertise somebody's name on my azz, when I could pay only $25.00 and have no name on my azz. Same thing when I bought my car, when I went back to the dealership to get my license plates, I had already purchased new frames to go around the plates, the salesman said, "Not using our FREE frames?" I replied, "Oh the FREE advertising for you? Not unless you pay me."
  18. My OCD was getting the best of me. My keyboard was collecting dust, and even caught a few hairs which were driving me stark raving nuts because I could not get them out. So, I got this and now my keyboard looks new again!
  19. Look kids! If you pay us $15.00 we will send you a T-Shirt so you can go around and be a walking billboard for us, at your expense, while we reap the benefits! We'll also send you advertising for the next six months, so we can entice you to spend more with us. "Membership" only lasts six months because after that you'll have figured out that you've been ripped off.
  20. Don't work on Halloween, so figured I'd visit my mom in the nursing home, then come home and binge watch the last half of the last season of Babylon 5.
  21. A gadget for the person who loves to take pictures of videos of themselves. << HERE >>
