"The Oregon Trail" handheld game by Basic Fun -- sold at Target.  I got one on Black Friday and finally had a chance to play it this week. 
My overall impression:  It's a lot of fun for those who remember the game.  My high school had a lab full of Apple II computers that had this game, so I have fond memories.  Maybe that's why I like it so much.  The screen is very nice, and I like the solid/substantial buttons.  My first attempt -- I lost two of five party members, but made it to Oregon.
On the down side:  It only plays one game.  It's too bad they didn't add a few other classic MS-DOS or Apple II games.  And the $25 price is way too high for what it is.  I got it on BF for $16, and that feels like a much better price point.

Didnt know where to post this but anyway. Last week a friend of the family called me up and said he found his old atari games and wanted to know if I wanted to buy them. Of course I  said yes. I went over there today and here they all are. He is a big matchbox collector so he was happy to unload these games onto me. We spent the day talking about each others collections and we are in 2 different worlds haha

Again didnt really know where to post this but this is part of my friends collection room. He Is huge into collecting matchbox cars. He actually got these store display cases himself back int he day atheist stores. He got in cool with the managers and they let him have these display cases

Let's try this. Post video-game related artwork or images. NOTHING "REAL LIFE" and no "Cosplay". Just video game related images that you have created or have seen and would like to share, as long as it is video games related, any genre, retro, classic or modern. Any format fine paintings / sketches / digital / rendered etc. Tributes, mash-ups or parodies, re-imaginings whatever. Of course all should be within site rules of etiquette and in the spirit of fun, reasonable common sense as always  😎 Source or credits are fine but not essential (as with my examples they are not always given where they are posted) . Of course I will start things off with a few I just discovered and enjoyed that gave me this idea. 
 

Im trying to think of a more creative way to store my nes games. Ive got 3 bookshelves but they are already full of disc games. Ive also got another stack of nes games like this somewhere else in the game room

Well about 3 week ago inwas told that the game shop i frequent was closing at the end of august. They said i was able to get some signs and boxes from them for pretty cheap. Im pretty happy with what i got buy im sad that i no longer have a game shop to go to anymore. This one was about 5 min away from me and the next one is over 45 min away.

Added a new shelf to the game room. I needed it everythings just been sitting on the floor

I love these see through game systems. I think I also have a see through gameboy color somewhere around here. 

I hate that it makes the pics fo sideways
