Yo-Yo Posted February 13, 2016 Report Posted February 13, 2016 I hope they change the cover before the book comes out. It's a pretty boring looking cover.... Rowsdower70, Lost Dragon and Atari Adventure Square 3 Quote
Atari Adventure Square Posted February 13, 2016 Report Posted February 13, 2016 It looks like a college course book. "Professor Retrogamer, you will have to put together a History course for the school this year." "Awww jeez, really? Well if I have to, I guess I can...waitaminit! I got it!" sign me up Lost Dragon 1 Quote
Yo-Yo Posted February 13, 2016 Report Posted February 13, 2016 It's boring and not a single screen from a game on the cover or a picture of the console. Who came up with that? Let's hope the book is 100x better than the cover. You know what they say about judging a book by its cover. TeddyGermany and Lost Dragon 2 Quote
DeLorean Posted February 13, 2016 Report Posted February 13, 2016 I wonder if they will have sections for toys and leather? Lost Dragon and Sabertooth 2 Quote
RickR Posted February 13, 2016 Report Posted February 13, 2016 I'm going to guess that there's a lot of non-video game material in this book. Cabbage Patch Kids especially. Seems like electronics only came near the end of their history. And the failure of Adam killed them off. I've always been intrigued with Coleco....if they'd have just stuck with Colecovision and not bothered with Adam...would they have survived? According to all that I've read, CV sold well up to the very end of it's existence. Lost Dragon 1 Quote
Sabertooth Posted February 14, 2016 Report Posted February 14, 2016 What, no Gemini on the cover? Quote
Scott Stilphen Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 It's boring and not a single screen from a game on the cover or a picture of the console. Who came up with that? Let's hope the book is 100x better than the cover. You know what they say about judging a book by its cover. I see a screenshot of Donkey Kong... Quote
