This is a post to list your extra game systems for trade. All classic and modern consoles are welcome. Simple 1 for 1 trades.

We are not going to disagree with your opinion, deem it inappropriate, and ban you. Quite the contrary. There's nothing we enjoy more than fostering debate. This is a nice place with nice people. We're a community of like-minded classic gamers with shared interests, and we all found our way here for similar reasons. Our common love of Atari, classic gaming, and retro culture should be a catalyst for treating each other with genuine courtesy and shared respect, regardless of how strongly we disagree on a topic. If you're banned elsewhere you shouldn't try to join Atari I/O.
 
 
 
4. DON'T BE A "GOON"

Goons troll, instigate, spread negativity, beg for free stuff, monopolize conversations, complain incessantly, lack basic civility, and ruin the good experience for everybody else.

5. ACT AS THOUGH YOU'RE ENTERING OUR HOME

This is a privately owned website that we put time, effort, and money into creating and maintaining. This is not the public square. It's also not the complaint hotline for other websites. We ask that you conduct yourself as you would a guest at a party in someone's home. A likable party guest doesn't drag drama and negativity from the outside world and other websites into somebody else's home, and they don't use your backyard as a platform to complain loudly about your neighbor. They don't beg for handouts, and they're polite when others are generous. Likable party guests aren't negative, cringy, overtly political, divisive, critical or argumentative in a friendly setting. A likable guest has civility and knows to leave politics and divisive topics at the door, and doesn't push agendas or political imagery on you as they enter your home. We leave the noise of the outside world at the door and come in with a blank slate make new friends with shared interests and have a good time - not find topics that foment reasons for us to dislike each other. A likable party guest is polite and thoughtful toward the other guests, knows how to  get along with others and enjoy the party. Presales of products that do not yet exist are NOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES in the forums. DO NOT use the forums to directly solicit money for products that are not yet complete or projects that are still in development. Even with the best intentions, sincere promises of "ready to ship in six months" many times become tumultuous as months turn into years or even a decade without fulfillment. Please wait until your product is READY TO SHIP before soliciting sales in our forums.
 
 
 
8. HANDLE YOUR OWN BUSINESS

We're not mommy. Clean up after yourself, try not to make a mess and handle your own affairs.
 
 
 
9. RESOLVE QUARRELS PRIVATELY

We will not allow bickering, petty fights, personal problems, passive aggressiveness, drama and general negativity to infect this forum. Disagreements are part of life, it's how those disagreements are handled that counts. Address them in a respectful way. Resolve your quarrels privately rather than dragging them into the forums for everybody to suffer through.

FIRST TRADE IS ON THE BOOKS!

Hi all:  I thought I'd start a post for folks to list their extra/duplicate carts.  Post your lists, and hopefully, we can help expand each others collections.  Simple 1 for 1 trades.

I have been asked quite a bit about my own thoughts and impressions since doing my Colecovision and Intellivision Flashback unboxing video. Damn crazy views I got on that one compared to my usual numbers. Anyway, I just have not had the time or opportunity to plug my own back in BUT I can tell you from the info I have seen from others videos and comments etc, I will offer this:  Colecovision FLASHBACK: Sadly, the controllers are not interchangeable with the original ones, they were originally suppose to be but a last minute decision (likely to meet a quicker release ) changed that. The emulation is even worse than on the Intellivision Flashback. One real example is THE HEIST by Microfun on the Colecovision flashback pretty much running at 1/2 the original speed UGH! Not only does that kill the once fun and bouncy music but it kills the pace of the game, that is the worse of it though, the rest play OK. If your expectations are not too high (IE: you are not expecting a perfect representation of the original games) for the casual retro gamer just looking to quickly and conveniently relive some Colecovision fun it is not too bad a deal. Note also a dude on Atariage offering a sticker set helping this unit look much closer to the original design of the Colecovision which is nice as AtGames seemed to put less effort in this area than they did for the Intellivision Flashback. That said my original Colecovison, accessories and 128in1 cartridge isn't going anywhere.
 
Intellivision Flashback : Same issue with the controllers not being interchangeable with the originals (though a dude on Atariage offers adapters to fix this issue allowing you to use the Flashback controllers on original Intellivisions) Games play a little better than compared to the Coleco FB however a true fan will still notice some quirks especially in the audio department compared to the original but nothing too drastic. Again, for the causal player just looking to plug n play for some Intellivision fun not too bad a deal. I DO hope to get some time to myself to actually hookup and play to demonstrate for you all personally some of what i have reported here. Don't wait for me if you are on the fence for either of these though as you can find plenty of videos demonstrating all the new Flashbacks that are very thorough. Bottom line, these are not for the "purist", you guys can just stick to the original but the price point and all the included games means it is really marketed to those that had one as a kid and passes by seeing it on the shelf and they think "HEY! I remember having a Colecovision / Intellivision, this looks cool!" it is NOT for those who have the original hardware / games unless you are the type of collector who just has to have everything regardless or just want as a conversation piece etc. Had the games played more accurately or the controllers been compatible with originals right out of the box it would have been a no brainer, as it stands though you can decide if it is worth it for yourselves.

When I was 15, I moved from Florida to my Dad's in a town called Pinebluff, NC. There was nothing but a store with 3 video games. Pac Land, Satan's Hollow and a wrestling game , called Mat Mania. I played them all, but Mat Mania is what all the other kids played. None of them could get past the 3rd match, Cocoa Savage. He used a shoulder attack that you couldn't beat, I thought "maybe I should use that against him", I did and realized I couldn't be beat if I did that move! My final game, I spent over 2 hours on one quarter. I hit a million and rolled over the score. I have not played it since. 3 people witnessed it, it was my greatest arcade moment.

I remember this being the greatest board game of all time!! My best friend had it back in 82, I've found it in perfect condition on ebay for $200 and will have it soon!!!
 

Hi new to the forum! The jaguar is my favorite console and the best part is that i can have new games for it still to this day thanks to the new developers, just got philia and waiting for a new skunkboard????
