  1. It’s just an old iPhone 4 hardly up to the task of decent quality night shots but I was outside taking out garbage and recycling and liked how the moon looked so snapped a couple quick pics 🤷🏽‍♂️
  2. Funny that the online WEBCAM TOY is still around. Seems like it's been around forever. 😝🤷🏼‍♂️ https://webcamtoy.com/

I've never heard of that.  I need to try that out.  Thanks!

I have an old Windows 7 Dell "Studio" laptop.  Super high quality from the early 2000's.  I took the time a few days ago to replace the HDD with a brand new 240GB SSD.  It's fast now, and I've been using it a lot.

Note my current profile pic as well using one of the filters. It's fun play around with. of silly filters ad regardless of the quality of your webcam, in fact it's a good use especially if you have a lower quality webcam in some ways. Just click allow when it asks for permission to use your webcam and it will work fine. It was a really nice option for free especially back in the day when we might not of had so many options for webcam software but even now I like to tinker with it when I'm bored, a fun lo-fi experience. Share some results with that Dell 😉

  3. Of course😆 Oh trust me, they started rolling in as soon as it was available as you'd expect from people in the hobby or having had actual experience of history with the console. Hopefully, all are respectful about it (I know how some in the Jag communities can be) I am sure he did his best and I assume he can revise it if need be as corrections are offered. Knowing what I know about certain topics I've seen many articles , documentaries , movies and it can certainly be frustrating when certain details are either misreported or left out or even in some cases change to reflect a bias 🤮 In THIS CASE though I am sure none of that applies or at least not intentionally. UPDATE: Having peeked back at his original thread 😉 over on AA he has heard, noted and seems willing to receive feedback mentioning an Email people can use in the preface and update / revise accordingly. So that sounds like the best outcome. That bodes well imho.
  4. Current Desktop - side note, I've personally never played NO MAN'S SKY in any form but it makes for a cool wallpaper imho. Anyone played / enjoyed / recommend it? 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️Not sure it's my type of game but screenshots from it do seem intriguing.

  6. Posted over on Atariage recent member Boris Kretzinger kindly posted to announce and share his book (two years work and over 300 pages!) about the History of the Atari Jaguar. Since it is free to view or even download on in various formats, available publicly to anyone and he's asked outright for people to spread the word, I thought I'd post here for those that might not be aware. Check it out at this link! https://archive.org/details/clipped-claws
  7. I've not watched a full episode of SNL in years but that particular skits gone viral, more than anything it was an excuse to post the video for any that had not already seen it. 😎
  8. THANKS GUYS! Brunch at Diner Deluxe , being the social media butterfly that I am of course I forgot to take a picture of our food, oh well I had the burger and fries and my wife had the eggs Benedict.🍺😎😜🧐http://www.dinerdeluxe.com/menu
  9. 😄For clarity, noticing the one puzzled "react" @RickR on my MARIO CART CATRIDGE post - recently on SNL their was a rather good and fun gritty dark parody trailer for a MARIO KART series. Off the success of THE LAST OF US a dark take on Mario Kart, one of the better things SNL have done of late.
  10. You know an image like this convinces me TEAM SITH would be the way to go imho! 🤷‍♂️😎
  11. Not mine BUT you should check out this guys amazing work, he throws different characters into various videogame worlds, some very funny but all amazingly well done! Here is but one example - OK now I wanna see a RoboCop mod for Cyberpunk 2077!

  15. Nice RICK ! Ramen is awesome. Sadly, this place was "OK" overall, we won't be going back, we have pretty extensive experience for travel over the years, living in TORONTO etc, so while we are not snobby or connoisseur's in the least we do have some standards to compare and often what passes as great here in small town KELOWNA it's only because many here simply don't know better, I suspect even residents here who have been to Vancouver would have a broader appreciation. But we like to try all the different places in a given area before deciding what goes on our list of "Places to return" we have a few on it for sure since we started going out every week. Good food quality and value for money though it's getting tougher these days it can still be found on occasion.
  16. Woke up today to look out the window and see this big surprise snowfall. Everything covered and it’s still coming down currently. Not that cold out just a lot of the white stuff.😲
  17. OK now it's on. Having lived my entire life in TORONTO ONTARIO up until moving here to B.C. 20 years ago KIDS IN THE HALL were a favorite. These characters always come to mind when I think KIDS IN THE HALL. Simple concept, that one guy who never comes through for you and yet, we keep falling for their word that they in fact will come through. This skit takes it to the limit 😎The original skit (there are some additional ones) called “The King of Empty Promises” with Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald. Of their most popular sketches and characters (Buddy Cole / Chicken Lady/ Crushing your head guy etc) for some reason, this skit always stuck with me, one because Kevin McDonalds character though clearly evil is quite calm and reserved, maddingly so, compared to many of his usual loud and maniacal characters. 😆Here are the two skits I remember, watch in order to see just how much of a sad sucker Foley's character is. The thing is, maybe it sticks in my mind because I can relate, as Foley's character 🤷‍♂️Obviously e is the victim in this equation but you just know part of his anger / disappointment is with himself for constantly falling for it. The Kids in the Hall: King of Empty Promises Follow up: Kids In The Hall: "The King of Empty Promises" -- In Jail!

  19. Nice video from Seb aka HalfBlindGamer -I do miss that era, that time when every company was scrambling basically to make the most of the incredible optical media format, of course you had PCs that could be expanded with cd drives and speakers and MPEG cards, etc., all these attempts to harnessing the power of multimedia was really interesting. Of course not everyone could afford a big high end, whizbang multi media PC and then you had the other end where people were playing games on their consoles. I guess it’s really not too surprising that some companies would attempt to create a platform that married the two or at least made an attempt to offer much of what the high-end multimedia offered while at the same time, letting you play a few games here and there. And really, when you consider some thing like the 3DO or the CD-i, they certainly stood out, to a lesser extent even commodores CDTV Did the same thing because you would get titles that were everything from Atlases to encyclopedia's and medical guides all with of course narration, some video, clips and pictures and then of course you could get some games with FMV it was all rather exciting. Of course today we just use our PCs or really let’s face it iPads, and all kinds of main stream devices that pretty much are powerful enough to do all of those things in glorious HD quality but I certainly have a nostalgic attachment to that time when it was all new and everyone was trying to come out with the next big hit that harness to the power of multimedia.
