While I do not recognize the character or understand her history / issues with Picard a couple things I thought of interest at least from my perspective, I found her ship similar to the mining vessel that Nero commanded (Played by Eric Bana in JJ Abrams's Star Trek) no connection just an observation. Her character Vadic reminded me a little of Star Trek II's Kahn as far as her dialogue went, over the top, very hateful towards Picard and seemingly wanting him to suffer etc. Lastly she is played by Amanda Plummer daughter of Christopher Plummer who of course was the General Chang in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. So I can see why they would choose her to be the villain though I am not really sold on her characters look / style, I think they should have made her more "Alien" looking then an old lady with bad emo hair but we will see if her performance can get me past that 😏🤷‍♂️I honestly more intrigued about the return of LORE and of course Professor Moriarty the Holodeck version of the classic Sherlock Holmes that was just as brilliant as his written version becoming so self aware he was even able to take control of the Enterprise. Did Lore have something to do with bringing him back? To aid him in whatever nefarious plan he surely has? I've enjoyed Picard, not as much as I enjoyed the new Star Trek Strange New Worlds but I really thought oafter wrapping up the Q / Borg storyline I didn't think they could come up with anything that would excite me for this supposedly final Picard season but I admit the trailer did peak my interest.

Thanks guys. The food was absolutely terrific, my wife remarked it was the best Beef Brisket she'd ever had. Yes all around this was a excellent surprise I'd say, we will likely be back sooner than later, already ideas for what to try next visit!

That's great Rick, yeah it has been nice "getting out there" again after being cooped up the last couple years, oh we take all precautions as much as possible, even encountered some rude people making comments etc, at the Golf course of all places, sad, but we don't let it stop us, we are both at high risk from diabetes and other ailments so if young strong people have an issue with it well that is their problem, we prefer to not take unnecessary risks. YES we are also getting the smoke and air quality alerts, looking out our balcony window right now looks like very overcast but it's actually smoke. We have our air filters going. This weeks outing 😎🍴🍺 Welton Arms Restaurant After leaving the restaurant the sun and sky was looking odd, snapped these pictures quickly, figured it was from fires and then I read on our local news site: “The orange haze of wildfire smoke has drifted over the Okanagan. The smoke is drifting north from the White River and Irving Peak Fires that are burning in the Cascade Mountains east of Seattle. The fires started when a lightning storm passed through the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest on Aug. 11, according to the U.S. Forest Service.”

🤔🤷‍♂️Looking through my very limited handful of original Colecovision games I noticed one of the Donkey Kongs was marked as MADE IN TAIWAN as opposed to all the others labeled MADE IN USA. Other than the obvious, I ask the Colecovision fans, historians and all those more knowledgeable, what are the details behind this? Was it this way right from the start or was it a deal made after launch and popularity of Colecovision requiring faster / cheaper production?

Bob's Garden Play sample no commentary (Mr. Do! clone for AMIGA) Here I quickly and poorly sample the game using AMIGA emulator FS-UAE for PC - Bob's Garden - An excellent clone of the arcade classic Mr. Do! for the Commodore AMIGA. I love Mr. Do! with my favorite version being on the Colecovision, however, back in my AMIGA days I was thrilled to find this little gem for any ESC/OCS Commodore AMIGA since it was PD/Freeware and turned out to be a very playable version as well.
