This is an awesome sci fi show. I'm glad Amazon picked it up and has continued it.
The only apprehension I have of the trailer is that they aren't gonna do the spaceship battles like in the first three season. Looks like this is gonna be more planetary base. The special effects look amazing though!

yep, I have one on the way......I have a problem
Yeah, I live in a rural area, so my nearest pinball machine I know of is 2 hours away, so I have been looking for a machine at a smaller price-point. Look forward to your review!

I've seen that too! Keep your eye out for @Willie!'s review, as I think he's likely to get one soon.
For me, I don't have much interest in something like this. May as well just play on an emulator IMO. As much as I love video pinball, I have to admit it can't really capture the feeling of a real steel ball flying around the table.Oh, I will have to look at the review! I am kinda on the fence on this one. It is a pricey "arcade" and I am not sure if the size will substitute for the real pinball experience. It hasn't been released yet, so I was gonna look at actual reviews before I even think about plopping down the money. My dream would be buying a real Stern Pinball machine!

Here is an interesting find. In the vein of 1UP arcades, Toyshock is releasing a 3/4 scale virtual pinball games. It will play 12 Gottlieb tables with 3D effects to give it some depth. It looks like the backbox doesn't change but does have stereo speakers. It does have a plunger and the extra buttons are the "nudge" buttons. The playfield is a 24 inch LCD so I do not know how that would be to play. It currently lists on the Walmart site for pre orders at 399.96, so its pricepoint is much cheaper than other full sized machines.

I love the show, but don't have Amazon prime.
They usually put them out on Blu Ray, but I am not sure when Amazon will produce the Blu Ray. I was really interested in Doom Patrol, but didn't want to pay for a streaming service just for one show. I ended up buying the Blu Ray and am really happy with that!

December 13 Amazon Prime will stream the season 4 of one of my favorite shows "The Expanse". I watched the first season on Blu Ray, but watched season 2 and 3 as they came out on SyFy (who unceremoniously canceled the show). I thought I set up a discussion on the show and I may put some comments as I watch the new episodes. Oh, and there will be spoilers. I would recommend watching the show and I think it will become a sci fi classic in future years. The first season gets going quickly, but also builds a great background of about 200 years in the future. Season 2 kinda drags in the beginning but picks up in the end, and the third season is nearly perfect for every Sci Fi fan whether you are a Trekie or a Star Wars fan.

I recently decided that my next retro console purchase will be an Atari Lynx. I know the screen can be a problem sometimes, but are any suggestions when buying? What upgrades are worth it?

Don't get me started about the Vikings....I could start a whole new forum to talk about them.

I'm the rare person who loves cold & snow and gets a little annoyed when people here in the Northeast complain about it. It's sooooooo much better than 85 degrees and 90% humidity. (I also love rainy days as those were the days as a child I could stay inside and play Atari all day.)Also, I'll need Kirk Cousins to start looking Stefon Diggs' way a bit more and if they could work Irv Smith Jr. into the passing game more, that would be great too.

Hello, Atari Forums!
I am new to this site and just wanted to give a little info about myself. I am a retired Air Force vet that decided to return to run the family farm in Carrington North Dakota. Everything they say about Nort Dakota is pretty much true, so I encourage any mocking of being cold and love to hear Fargo quotes!
I started retro collecting when I bought my Sega Saturn in 2014 and now am looking to expand my Atari collection. I am not a completionist but buy the games I find interesting to play. I am currently on a quest to complete Super Ghost and Ghouls, and it is going horribly, but I am having fun. I also love movies and sports SKOL Vikings!
Thats all.

I get an email update from them, so I will update. They don't do a kickstarter or indegogo, but they keep their production limited. And good luck finding one second hand at a decent price.

Yeah, those cases alone are worth a lot of money. I think they actually used Pelican cases with precut foam for their rental. Amazing find in the wild!

I just found out about this game so I am late to the party. Here is a cool link I discovered about the development of the game by the creator.

Oh, I love some video pinball. I am fortunate that we have a place in Fargo where they have a pinball collection to play, so I always stop by and play some games when I can. I haven't jumped into owning a pinball machine yet. I don't really have the room and I am kinda intimidated with the upkeep of an older machine.

While I have an appreciation for all things Atari, I also love to sit back and play some pinball from time to time. In late 92 early 93, I was stationed in Witchita Falls for my AF Tech Training as a jet mechanic. Well at first, we were restricted to the dorms but they had a small arcade. This was when Mortal Combat was huge so everyone crowded around that machine. In the corner I found two pinball machines and became obsessed with them. They are still my favorite tables to this day!

I love stuff like this. I love the artwork, this looks like it could be straight out of Tim Lapetino's "Art of Atari".
Oh yeah, The cards have all the original artwork from the books. I am not sure if it is a word for word copy of the book overall, but it pays homage to the artwork and humor of the book.

ZMan Games has announced its second board/card game based on Choose Your Own Adventure Books from the 80s. I bought the "House of Danger" game and the game is played with cards and a small board. It is set up into five chapters with objectives to complete each chapter. You can make decisions, but you sometimes will need to make a 6D roll on a certain attribute to beat the "Danger Index". You also have a Psychic meter which will progress you into certain areas of the game. There are also several items you can collect to help you through the game. It combines the old quirky humor the R. A. Montgomery was known for in his books so it relates to all generations. I recommend 1-4 players and you cooperatively try to finish the chapters. It combines simple, easy to learn gameplay while not being bogged down by reading the story all the time. The new game is called "War with the Evil Power Master" and looks like it will play a little differently, but will definitely be on my wish list.

I have a Super NT from this company and it works great. I am excited for this new system that will play Nintento Gameboy/color. They also mention that adapter carts will allow it to play Atari Lynx, NGPC, and Sega GG on an FPGA board. Also a docking station that will allow you to play games on your TV! Maybe a little pricey, but Analogue tends to put out quality products that are worth the money.

One of my favorite games is Super Ghouls and Ghost on the SNES. I think it also qualifies as a Halloween/Scary game. The capcom music alone sets the scary mood!

But they also mention the Protomolecule in the trailer so that will still be a factor in season 4.
