How about these old mimeograph machines from grade school?  The copies came out purple and they smelled good. 

Remember guys, if someone calls you old, just use a quote from the patron-saint of old Andy Rooney:  "Yes I'm old, and someday if you're lucky, you will be too!" 
 

Some additional old tech that I had the pleasure of using...

When our oldest was 7 he spent the summer in NYC with both sets of grandparents. We gave him a Polaroid to take with him and to this day, he has an album full of pictures that he took from that summer. The camera might still be in his apartment. 

I used these to take TV screen pictures...


 

My dad was so mad when I "wasted" film on the patch scores.  And of course, we all had to learn that hard lesson of NOT using a flash!  Two weeks later of course.  Oh well, lets play again!

It cost a lot to take pictures to send into Activision for a patch. Today we can just snap away on our phones.

Friends, we aren't old....we're EXPERIENCED!
Who remembers this crap...you'd have to wait two weeks to see how terrible your pictures were 🙂

I wanted to follow-up Seaquest with Atari's own underwater odyssey: Aquaventure! 
This is a fun game and it amazes me that Atari didn't release it in 1983.  I love the colorful sprites - especially on a CRT.  The lose a little something in HD.  This is the XP Standard Edition cart that Atari released last year.  For those that don't know, an XP cart will not work on a Retron77 - so the 2600 plus is a great way to experience this and the other XP titles. 
 

I earned the Enduro and Pitfall II patches back in the day.  I've been purchasing patches over the years as well.  Some have become quite pricey!

I wish. I have a patch for all of the games (see below) that I have personally qualified for. I've purchased them over the years, since 2008.
