  1. FYI - If you ever see a game I review that you are interested in, you can feel free to ask me if it's available for trade. Some I keep, but several I do not.
  2. Thank You! However, I had a set back this weekend, so it looks like its gonna be a 7800 video. Still Atari. And The Atari.io button will make an appearance!
  3. Been playing a lot of Mario Bros. lately. No, not that Mario Bros. THE Mario Bros.

  4. Episode 19 covering Donkey Kong & Donkey Kong Jr is now out on the feed, iTunes and YouTube: The next episode will cover Mario Bros. & Fight Night As always, you can send text or audio feedback on these games, previously covered or general Atari 7800 stories and thoughts, both past and present to atari7800podcast@aol.com. The next episode should be out in about three weeks.
  5. It came from 1990. For a while, if you bought a joe off the shelf, you got a micro figure with it. BTW, the cut out part was the order form, which I think I used to get another ACE, which I had lost my original. Funny thing, I ended up with 2 because the lost one got found!
  6. BTW, did you know RS Basketball never officially came out for the 2600?
  7. FINALLY finished researching the history of Nintendo, Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Junior (passes out....)

  8. In a weird sense, you could argue that actually the 5200 was the last true Atari system, since the 7800 was made by GCC, the lynx by EPYX and the Jag was after the Tramiels cleaned house.
  9. Ep 204: The Atari.io Retro Junk Box Ep 205: Ace of Aces - Atari 7800
  10. Ep 201: Pac-Man Magnetic Maze (also in the Toy section) Ep 202: Dodge Em - Atari 2600 (also in the 2600 thread)
  11. The Atari.io Retro Junk Box Mega Video is now available to view in the thread!

Go sign up for pt. 2!!

  12. Yeah, I thought that too, along with what it spent less time on the great music or less time on the great title screen. But I think all that adds charm to the game. And perhaps, the Easter Eggs was something he did to help reduce all the pressure he was facing.
  13. Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone.....but I got the Junk Box back....just between you and me!

  14. I'm happy you got RS Volleyball! I don't care for most of the RS titles, but VB is great!
  15. Thanks SS! I believe you bought my review copy too! Enjoy it. It is a fun ride on the 2600!
  16. Thanks Rick! Yeah, Double Dwibble surprised me because it seems that every retro gamer loves the game, so I almost wondered if I was missing something. I'm glad I'm not the only one! Of course, my goal is to always give my honest assessment, even if it goes against the grain (cough....ET.....cough...cough).
  17. Is sure is and I already started scanning it!
  18. What can I say? Rows is amazing...or as I like to say... ROWSOME!
  19. Outside of what is listed on ebay, Here are some 2600 games for trade. The ones without labels are Defender, Space Invaders and Frogger.
  20. These Easter Eggs hidden in E.T. are awesome! And how how cool is that Howard Scott Warshaw hid them in the game. These Easter Eggs alone should get E.T. off of any "Worst Games" lists.
  21.
