  1. Do you have one of the Playmates phasers? It's pretty nice! Seems like a really nice size and it looks and feels great.
  2. Me too. I have this Friday off work and plan to spend some time on this and also VCS Gravitar.
  3. It will be super interesting! Jaguar emulation has not been done well yet. And how are they going to handle those games that use the Jaguar phone pad buttons?
  4. I haven't taken the time to learn much about this, but I will take a look soon. Looks pretty cool.
  5. Sub-six-second club members rule the race track.
  6. You'll want to check out the AtariAge forums for these questions (specifically, search for concerto or user "batari"). I think the card must be formatted as FAT32, which means a 32GB size limit on the partition. I don't know if there's any limitation on SD card size. The link to buy a Concerto: https://erstwhile-technologies-7800.square.site/product/concerto-cartridge/5?cs=true&cst=custom The link to the AtariAge forum: https://forums.atariage.com/forum/4-atari-7800/
  7. I think the real contest is to know who is the hairiest person in space.
  8. It's cool, but it looks pretty complicated! Classic Controller FTW.
  9. Oh cool! I actually own this one already although I haven't played it much.
  10. I think it uses the same cable as the Atari 8-bits, VIC-20 and C64 (5 pin version). I've found it's easier to find one labeled for those. Ebay is where I've got them in the past, but I've also made my own if I have the right DIN connector. For example, I yanked the DIN connector from a broken VIC-20 RF box to make one.
  11. My intention is to get mine out and play a few more of the "speech" games (Bigfoot, MASH, Buck Rogers, Honey Hunt, Moon Mine) that I'm not sure I've ever tried before. It will be most likely the weekend of Nov 12.
  12. These are dime a dozen, but this one is slightly gaming related.
  13. I thought I'd just share how easy it is to add a POKEY sound chip to a Concerto cart to get the improved sound on games like Ballblazer. I realized I had a donor 5200 board and pulled a POKEY from that. It simply plugs right in to the socket on the Concerto and works straight away. Some notes: User batari at the Atari Age forums created the Concerto cart. He also is selling a drop-in replacement for the POKEY called "HOKEY" for a really low price. Also, the production Concerto carts being sold now have the option of having HOKEY included. Clearly that's the way to go. My Concerto is "pre-production", and it has worked really well for me.
  14. I'm not quite there yet. We just watched the DS9 episode.
  15. I should have taken a lot more pictures, but my wife and I spent several days at the Oregon coast. Lots of meals out, swimming, walking, and site seeing. It was a lot of fun and it's good to get out there again.
  16. Happy Anniversary! And many more. Great pictures as usual.
  17. It's weird, right? Mail within the same city takes a few days minimum. But across the entire country...shorter time. PS - I just mailed my property taxes in. I'll be poor in a few days :)
  18. I shipped an ebay item media mail from Oregon to the east coast...and it arrived THE NEXT DAY! Yes, USPS has been on a roll lately.
  19. This game is tough! Best I can do on day 1 is 14,000, which doesn't make the high score list. I'll keep trying later.
  20. A very happy birthday to @CrossBow!

Thank you! It was a very low key and relaxing one and that was how I wanted it. Took the day off from work and played some of the new games I picked up at PRGE.
