RickR got a reaction from DegasElite in Vintage Alarm Clock Radios
And your flip-number clock is SWEET! I've had my eye out for one of those for years, but they are kind of hard to find!

RickR got a reaction from DegasElite in Vintage Alarm Clock Radios
Oh god, this is so embarrassing, but I'll share anyway. Let me preface by saying that I refuse to keep my phone next to my bed as a clock/alarm because after years of being "on-call" at work, I refuse to do that ever again. Even in "do not disturb" mode. So without a phone, I have myself a pretty sweet atomic clock radio on the bottom. It always has the right time and I never have to touch it. I also am able to set & forget alarms. It is set to go off M-F and not on the weekends. So it is perfect except....I can't see the dang thing at night or from across the room. What time is it? I don't know! So that's why I've got old reliable up top. The clock/radio I've used since college. Works like a champ, and has the full keypad up top to set the time and alarms. But I only use it for the time.
And the second pic is from the one in my game room, performing a similar function as your initial post. It looks cool in a retro gaming room.

Thanks. It’s from the Art of Atari Poster Collection. It’s the artwork for the 7800 version. My favorite Asteroids artwork is the 5200’s. I have a custom cart and box with that artwork, as well as, poster art.

I know I can’t be the only one, so please share your clock radios. Mine sat in its box for years before I finally put together my Atari room.

RickR reacted to ArugulaZ in Whack 'Em Smack 'Em Byrons!
https://arugulaz.itch.io/whack-em-smack-em-byrons
CV Basic opened the door to development on the ColecoVision, so I figured I'd take advantage of this by making my very own game. It's Whack A Mole, but with my cartoon character Byron! Also, there's an SG-1000 version, since the two systems are so similar.
Also, there's an instruction booklet, included in this post. You're probably not going to need one, but it's fun to read.

Latest episode (Dragonstomper!) is out. 😀
Btw, the Papa Pete interview, from a few months ago, was really good too.

I'm downloading a few episodes to listen on the way to work on an MP3 player. Thanks for suggesting that. I know it's an old-school way of doing it, but it works for me.

RickR reacted to Marcio D. in SPEED TEST: Simons' BASIC vs. C128 BASIC vs. Vision BASIC
Retro Old Guy has released a new video comparing Simons' BASIC with C128 BASIC and Vision BASIC:

There's a mismatch clearance sale over at the Vision BASIC website, where they're practically giving away a few copies of the product:

Might have to try that Atari x G-Fuel to beat @RickR! Are performance enhancers allowed?! 🤣
