I can't disagree with your list.  But I do have some additional characters to consider:
 
- Donkey Kong
- Gordon Freeman.
- Samus
- Master Chief
- Duke Nukem
- Pikachu
- GlaDOS 
 
I could go on an on.  We've been lucky to have so many great characters!

Ok here is what i took out. I couldn't quite get the book back in there so i had to take it out too. But hey maybe it will help me beat some games im stuck on.

As I mentioned above...quality in the Tramiel years was not very good.  It's amazing how many XEGS' are broken.  I got mine from Correagonzales because it was broken.  I also have an extra working motherboard if anyone needs it. 

Yeah, I'll admit....I was the same.  I have one just because. 

These are really nice, but I would highly recommend an Atari 800XL instead.  The 800XL is essentially the same (minus the built-in Missile Command game), but is of much higher build quality.  Plus easier to find and less expensive. 

Alright i just got home from work. The box was waiting for me, but im tired so ill do my thing tomorrow and get it shipped out tomorrow too!

I need more SMS games.  Is it just me, or are they hard to find?

The disk drive works!  Not at first.  It needed some repair.  But all mechanical.  The drive door/latch mechanism.  It's so cool!

A Rana disk drive for the Atari 8-bit computers.  The cover is not attached, which probably means it's broken.  Still....I drooled over these drives back in the 80's.  So sleek.  The LED display.  Higher density.  Even broken, it is welcome in my collection.  A little box of floppy disks.  And three Atari computer books.  A label-less Intv game that I didn't have.  A SMS game!  (lucky thing to find).  A complete DS game.  

So a YouTuber I follow explored an old video rental place that is abandoned in the middle of nowhere. All he showed was a shelf of Genesis cases and a bunch of VHS tapes. Something tells me that there is a lot more than just Genesis cases there. I bet they might even have things up to the N64 but that is just me speculating. There could be systems, rental cases, who knows what all could be hiding there!!!!! 
 
So I did a bit of research and found the location and contacted the Mayor's office in the town it is located in. I requested to be in touch with anyone that is responsible for the property in the very off chance they might let me go picking. My plan, should it become a reality is to road trip there, (about 1200 miles from me) grab EVERYTHING I can and sort it all out here at home.  This is an amazing find and should I be able to pull this off EVERYONE (within reason anyway) that I know in the hobby that has a a true passion for this will benefit from this seeing that most rental places carried multiple copies of stuff. It's a smaller place so I could be wrong there.

Btw, that Dick Tracy book is a really good read. The original daily comic strips combined to tell one long case, and this book collects several cases. Even adults can enjoy them and they still hold up today, even with some of them being 80+ years old!
Highly recommended if you like comics or if all you know of Dick Tracy is the 1990 movie.

Here is what I took out, after many hours of debate.  
Mega Man 4 and Othello for the N.E.S. (so far even on easy I can't even come close to beating the computer in othello)
Grow a Girlfriend (my kid said "your not going to take that!"  so I said, "but what if mommy doesn't come home, boom, new mommy!" my mother in law got a kick out of that).
and for the Sega Vectorman (I've been looking for this one for a while, just tried it out today, fun game) Triple Score and Too Cool To Fool.
She's all ready to go to Jmjustin6 now.

Sure throw my hat in the ring IF shipping to Canada is not an issue? If not I totally understand if you prefer to keep shiping within your borders, I am not in a position to spend on my hobby currently but a freebie is cool  Any excuse to do an unboxing lol.
