    Well, my recently acquired copy of Phantasy Star Online arrived in the mail today, and it boots up perfectly, no trouble at all. I took a look at its disc, and it has NO scratches, period, whereas both my ChuChu Rocket and Crazy Taxi DO have scratches, so perhaps that is a contributing factor?

    That's my problem, though. I can't afford another one. Not for awhile, at least. I managed to get Virtua Tennis to load again, but it keeps resetting at the title screen, so I think that it must be a faulty disc. The Utopia boot disc still works fine, too, so maybe I'm dealing with scratched game discs or something.

    UPDATE: The Utopia Boot Disc still works, and a PAL game has booted up perfectly. I'm at a complete loss to understand why it's loading PAL games, but not NTSC.

    I've already posted elsewhere that a copy of Virtua Tennis I bought this week continuously reboots to the main menu when I try to play it. After some playing around and trying to get things to work, it seems my problem is getting worse. Now my copy of ChuChu Rocket won't load. I fear my Dreamcast may be kicking the bucket, and I'm not sure what to do. I can't afford to replace it. UPDATE: The Dreamcast is now refusing to load any of my games. Anybody got any ideas?

    I figured that's what I'll try. The store has a ten day warranty for all games sold, so I'm gonna try to get back there this week and see what can be done. Will keep ya'll updated.

    It seems I bought a lemon. Virtua Tennis keeps resetting after I start it up. Any suggestions?

    I gotta new find comin' in probably next week from Ebay... Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast, a game I've had on my radar for a long time now. Will post pics when it arrives. Got it for a cool $11.

    I'm clinging to a faint sliver of hope around the words, "for the year" in the update from Nintendo about the discontinuation. That and the even more telling line over in Japan that the Famicom Mini will probably return to production at a future point implies that MAYBE Nintendo is trying an Atari Flashback tactic, that of limiting sales to holiday periods only? On the other hand, I'm probably just kidding myself.

    I guess I should just give up hoping I'll get a Switch, too. Don't look now, it'll probably be discontinued next week. Feeling cynical, right now. This has ruined my day.

    I'm completely honest here... This is heartbreaking for me. I remember being so excited when I learned the Mini was coming out the weekend of my birthday, only to be extremely disappointed that I couldn't find one anywhere. I WANT ONE SO BADLY. I don't guess I'll ever get one now.

    I love the PSP, ever since I bought one with my own birthday and Christmas money back in 2009. Great system, I only wish I had more games for it. My PSP library is extremely small.
