  1. The newest XP cart is a an alt-art reissue of Dark Chambers. I love the Butcher Billy art and own three framed prints, but really wish they would stick to rarities and protos for this line. At least it's harder to come by than Outlaw. https://atari.com/products/dark-chambers-limited-edition

  6. That's great to hear! Let's hope it holds! 🤞
  7. Ben from Plaion just confirmed this morning! Right is the new pre-production sample! Details forthcoming.
  8. I'll go with 6 because I recently recieved a 6 cart holder as a gift and had to prioritize my top six. They are all based on childhood nostalgia. in no particular order: Q*bert Dig Dug Ms. Pac-man Moon Patrol Joust Battlezone It's interesting, with the exception of Q*Bert, these are all GCC silver label titles.
  9. Here's a great FAQ from DE on the acquisition and what it means. https://www.digitaleclipse.com/media/digital-eclipse-atari
  10. I think it's likely that this has really impacted the sales of newer titles. Most players are multiplatform owners and if AtariOS isn't working, they will grab them on a Switch, Steam or PS5. (Like @Smell Dawg) They really need to prioritize this over all other VCS initiatives. Like, get an API consultant on it.
  11. This could be Atari's wisest acquisition yet! They just bought Digital Eclipse. https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2023/10/31/2769851/0/en/Atari-enters-into-an-agreement-to-acquire-Digital-Eclipse.html?fbclid=IwAR2pw1uUZw0uUzPpZRVpmJT61OkYdH8tIMkJzK0toMNVyYDAyxCyX8PNoyo

  13. A demo of Lunar Landar Beyond was made available on 10/9 as a part of Steam Next Fest. Here's a quick gameplay video. First thoughts are that 1) it's not doing anything the VCS can't do; and, 2) it could greatly benefit from Classic Controller spinner support. It will be a real shame if this doesn't make it to the VCS.
  14. I'm not quite there yet. A number of folks have expressed interest in a print copy. I decided to do a single issue print to check quality, cost and determine what revisions need to be made to do a small run. A number of changes need to be made, including the addition of two content pages (magazines are divisible by 4), the orientation of page numbers on even pages, and some art and text adjustments. Also, reading a print copy I found a handful of small errors that have since been corrected. Overall, I was pretty happy. It looks and feels like a store bought magazine. I'm ordering one more test print with the revisions. If it looks good, I will do a small run for ClubVCS members first. If I have left overs, I'll open it up. I plan to offer these at my cost plus shipping. If I move forward, I'll make the announcement here first.
  15. Thanks so much @- Ω -! It definitely took longer than I expected and I learned alot along the way. I'm glad that folks are enjoying it. 🕹
