  2. Welcome to the official topic for Gunslugs 2
  3. So I finally watched episode 6. Personally, my feelings are a little mixed but I understand why so many are extremely excited by this one. It reminded me of the 2008 traveling Trek museum exhibit, but as an episode of tv. The 'memberberries are strong with this one.
  4. Hey, Welcome to the forums at I/O@Caleb Hick88 ! Unfortunately, there has been no official word on a U.K./European release. Your best bet is eBay or an import service. There have been some folks who have successfully used a buy and ship service and posted their experiences on YouTube, so that could be an option.
  5. Thanks @RickR! I wont be able to watch until the weekend. I will steer clear of everything Trek until then.
  6. As reported by our friend and ClubVCS member @Ballistik, PolyGunR is a new top-down, isometric, physics based, run OR gun from veteran developer Tony Barnes (RetroNinja)! The trailer brings to mind Vindicators. If its got near the polish of RetroNinja's BPM Boy, VCS owners are in for a treat! Check out Ballistik's video below! Is this a day one purchase for you?
  7. Release Date: TBD Retail: TBD Developer: RetroNinja Publisher: RetroNinja Official Site PolyGunR, a top-down / isometric / physics-based / run OR gun / shmup, coming (very) soon, from RetroNinja.
  8. Welcome to the official topic for PolyGunR
  9. @RickR- Re: The LCARS displays and other TNG touches, they apparently brought on Michael Okuda to help in Season 3. For me, this approach is what was missing in the first two seasons. It's not "fan service" to care about continuity and the history these characters already have. This is where the new showrunner gets it.
  10. Berzerk (2600) for the modern VCS. This was made available today following the announcement of Atari's acquisition of 12 classic IPs from Stern, including Berzerk and Frenzy.
  11. I just watched Episode 5: Imposters. I will not say anything other than I was entirely satisfied and can't believe they were able to not only continue the momentum, but build on it. I look forward to hearing what you all thought
  12. Flashback Friday returns with a 2600 title that isn't already on your VCS Vault or Atari 50... Berzerk! ($2.99)
  13. Atari announced the acquisition of 12 Stern arcade titles, including Berzerk & Frenzy. The other 10 are not specifically named but assume Stern's internally developed titles. https://www.gameinformer.com/2023/03/16/atari-acquires-berzerk-frenzy-and-10-more-classic-arcade-properties It will be cool to see what they do with Berzerk and the other titles. They've already pushed the 2600 game to the VCS store for $2.99!
  14. Glad to see you on the Challenge, @Marco1019! Upgrading is a part of the core game. Upgrade away! You may also choose to use any or none of the score modifiers.
  15. Another backer update. Beta delayed until May or June.
  16. This is more general Trek, but I've really gotten into the podcast The Shuttlepod Show lately. Hosted by Enterprise stars Dominic Keating and Conner Trinneer, they do deep dives with other actors, writers and other contributors to various Trek series. A lot of behind the scenes and showbiz stuff, but very interesting. Here's a link to the show and a recent episode with Michael Dorn. https://youtube.com/@ShuttlepodShow
  17. Here's a really cool, casual interview with Atari's CEO, Wade Rosen.  Worth a listen.

  18. So far, so great! I am still cautious after the first two seasons, but it looks like the new show runners don't believe in no win scenario. 😉
  19. Not physical, but I picked up Caverns of Mars: Recharged for the VCS today. Here's a gameplay only video. This is great take on a deep cut from the Atari 8-bit computer era. I really dig the fully destructible environments, weapons types and stackable (and strategic) power-ups.
  20. A Gameplay only "First Look" of the Atari VCS version of Caverns Of Mars: Recharged! This is great take on a deep cut from the Atari 8-bit computer era. I really dig the fully destructible environments, weapons types and stackable power-ups. Have you played it yet?
  21. Out now! Interestingly, early chatter shows it to be a really divisive game. Folks either love it, or hate it. I am in the LOVE IT category. What do you think?
  22. Who is up for the challenge?
