I was a 1st chair trumpet player for 6 years throughout middle school and high school. But sadly I never touched it after I graduate. I still have it as I found out pretty quickly that the price my step-dad paid for it was quite the bargain.

My trumpet is a silver Benge ML made in the latter portion of 1974. In fact I pulled it out recently from its case to see how badly tarnished it might be. Wasn't too bad but there are some pretty dark spots on the bell. I'm thinking seriously of getting it professionally polished and small dent in the flare of the bell straighten back out. I don't have any current pics of it but I did register it on this website (#16674) when I found out about how cool and awesome Benge trumpets are. My band directors always preferred to use my horn when demonstrating something to the class even when their own was sitting right next to them. I later found out it was because of how bright and directional the Benge horns are.

    Here's a picture of my guitar.  It's a 1965 Silvertone Bobkat model 1476.  Very nice blues-y sound.

I've been seriously considering selling it to buy a much less valuable thrasher.

Well it's not video game-related, but I'm pretty happy with this find knowing that I'm going to make my little niece very happy. I bought her a bunch of hatchimals that I found at the Goodwill. The same ones go at Target for about 8 to 10 bucks a pack. I found them for $1.50 each.

Picked up 25 packs of these things. She's going to go nuts!

So a few months ago my dad told me he was thinking about selling one of his basses that he has because he never plays it. I told him I was interested in it because I thought I would be awesome to have a bass that he owned. And the price he thought about selling it for was a pretty good deal.

He had heard that that the new Call of Duty was set in the World War II era and he was pretty big on the Call of Duty franchise when there was set in the world war era for the first few games. So he really wanted to play it.

I had recently picked up a PS4 Pro and I had a launch model PS4 so the launch model was extra. I had asked him earlier if he was interested in it and he said he was. When I asked him about the bass when I heard he was going to get rid of it he asked if I would do a straight trade for it. I totally jumped on it and said yes

That's the bass I got. My dad's favorite band is the Beatles and his favorite bass players is Paul McCartney. He thought he'd play it a lot more than he did but he went back to his Fender Jazz basses and he recently picked up this sweet Music Man Stingray bass. That music Man instantly became his go to bass.

I traded him for a PS4 with all the connections a controller and a small stack of games. One of them was the Call of Duty World War 2 game.

It's awesome to know that I actually own something that used to belong to him. While he probably got the better end of the deal, I really don't care. I'm totally going to cherish this bass.

For some reason I've been itching to pick up a 6-string Bass even though I'm more of a guitar player. We got a really nice bonus paycheck at work so I picked this up a couple days ago. It's a lower-end model but I'm having lots of fun with it!

    Yay!

I remembered that I had a Sega master system rf connected to the TV with the 5200 cable connecting to that. I remove the Sega RF connection and went direct with the Atari and it looks great. Although I want everything hooked up. Im going to leave it like this for the meantime but I'm going to try your ideas probably at a later time to see if I could have everything hooked up! I really appreciate all your help guys! thank you very much!

Something else just crossed my mind. If your 5200's power supply is weak, or not an original power supply, it can cause those lines as well.

Try the 5200 adapter on a different power outlet. Sometimes higher powered equipment shares the same circuit and trying a different outlet usually helps.

You are saying that all of the 5200 consoles are doing this so I am not so sure the 5200s are at fault. They are old with very little to protect them from outside RF interference and FCC requires these consoles to accept any interference they may receive. Do you have another TV you can test one of the 5200 consoles on? If you don't get interference then it is a sure bet that something else is causing those lines.

From experience those lines look like those caused by an electric motor running close by or on the same circuit. If you have a fan or AC running turn it off for just a second to see if the lines disappear. And, believe it or not, some lamps too close to a TV or game machine can cause those as well. Microwaves too.

What have you tried so far?  On the two part, are you using a new screw-in type RF adapter directly into the TV antenna port?

I'd do the easy stuff first:
Auto-tune the TV channels with the 5200 on.  Try putting a magnetic choke on the RF cable. Try completely unraveling the RF cable.  You might also make sure you're using the right power adapter for the 2-port.  If I recall, it uses a different power brick than the 4 port.

Good luck, and let us know what happens.

I have the Mario Kart 8 stand up in that style. It was given to me for free from a local buddy of mine. He in turn had a buddy that worked for gamestop. Although on any pics of my game room I have, it is really hard to see it stuck in the corner and flanked on either side by large cases/shelves...

Can just barely make it out in the center of this pic. And that is about all you can see of it in real life as well. When I first got it, I didn't have the larger black display case to the left of it and only had a small and thin shelf case that was only like 6 inches thick and not the 14inches of the current case.

I've been so busy unpacking into the new apartment, I forgot about my own thread! ????

Well during all the chaos, I managed to find these 2 tv stands both on OfferUp. Pretty happy with them. They fit perfectly where I wanted them.

I paid $45 for the flat panel stand and $10 for the CRT stand. I'm really happy with them. I have to finish hooking up everything but I took some time out to play some Ice Climber for the squad challenge. I'd say that the game room is about 95% clean. I just have a small mess in the closet. I'm pretty happy with the way it's coming out!

So my mom has a friend who worked at a TRU distribution. With the closure of the stores, she lost her job as the distribution warehouses closed as well. She knew I used to go there quite often and she gave me this the other day.

This shirt is pretty cool. Made me think of all the times I went there as a kid.

It's crazy how light some of these lcd TV's are. My 49" is lighter than my 47" lcd.

    171 lbs!!!  112 lbs!!!  YIKES!

I remember when I finally disposed of our 32" tube TV.  It took three of us (me, my wife, and my oldest son) to get it down the stairs and it to the back of the car.  Then, of course, the giant dude at the Salvation Army lifted it all by himself and scoffed at me when I said "be careful, it's heavy".

I pretend to be Hercules when I easily lift the 40" LCD TV up the stairs these days.
