- Ω - 273 Report post Posted February 17 If you're into the 5200 and like "Homebrews", there is a good chance you have a Multi-Cart or Wafer-Drive (same thing long story), but out of all those games at your fingertips, what is your favorite game? Can you choose one? 1 Justin reacted to this
RickR 14,492 Report post Posted February 17 My favorite 5200 game is Berzerk. Second place is Realsports Baseball. I haven't had an opportunity to try many homebrews for 5200. The only one I own is "Tempest", which is excellent. You let me know if there are any free homebrews out there I should add to my 5200 multi-cart. 1 - Ω - reacted to this
- Ω - 273 Report post Posted February 17 I'm a little slammed for time right now, but not only will I let you know, I'll even post the .BIN image so you don't have to go hunting.
RickR 14,492 Report post Posted February 17 Cool, thanks! No rush. I have a conversion board that allows one to use Genesis or 2600 controllers on the 5200 coming from Greece. I imagine that will take some time to arrive. Once it does, I'll get the 5200 out and we can talk more.

TrekMD 2,267 Report post Posted February 19 I love the AtariMax cart. I got that first after I bought my 5200. Now I have more carts but they are mostly homebrews. 🙂

TrekMD 2,267 Report post Posted February 19 I suppose you could always try selling them. 1 - Ω - reacted to this
DegasElite 1,028 Report post Posted February 20 I would keep the original cartridges for their collector's value. After all, if they aren't played as much, that reduces wear and tear on the system and cartridges. But, that would be up to you, of course. Just a friendly thought, anyway. 1 - Ω - reacted to this

Well that's the problem, from what I've been told they are all 'common cartridges' with little to no value, so selling them would be like giving them away for less than what I paid, and keeping them will be out of the question when I downsize. 3 DegasElite, TrekMD and RickR reacted to this
TrekMD 2,267 Report post Posted February 21 That's a very nice collection. The carts looks pristine. 1 - Ω - reacted to this
DegasElite 1,028 Report post Posted February 22 They do at that. I have every single title you have except Mario Bros. I still need that one. Thanks for sharing. :O) 1 - Ω - reacted to this

When I got them their labels were totatal trash, so I had to remake the labels. Defender was a little more difficult as I needed to buy special silver cardstock to print the image on. 2 TrekMD and RickR reacted to this
