It is free. Now, v1.05 has been released publicly, and it supports JaguarCD games, Jeff Minter's Virtual Light Machine (with whatever music you play on your computer), and many of the homebrew, demo, and prototype CDs. The name of the file you downloaded should have the version number in it. Since I had previous versions I just used the update option within the program which worked perfect, I archive each new release for myself just in case! Of course anyone who has not yet experienced this amazing emulator should definitely download from the links posted in this thread! I'm looking forward to playing the co-op mission modes and 32-player battle mlde on Battlesphere Gold. All Jaguar multiplayer games can now be played online.
