No doubt, but think of this... Road Blasters on the go.  Can Sega do that?

I think "guilty pleasure" is a good way to sum up the game.

I was invited to go on The Retro League Podcast a few months ago when they were talking about 1 on 1 fighters and I actually chose the Lynx version of Pit Fighter to talk about, since I wanted to bring up Atari in some way, especially the Lynx, which often doesn't get much attention on multi system podcasts.

The characters seam to be staying the same size, it almost looks like the floor and crowd are moving but not the actual characters.

Sorry guys I just found out it was a hoax of a prototype. Instead, it's a homebrew that "Eric7100" made and concocted a story to release his game for the INTV.

    Very bad taste IMO.

as I posted on AA - " "Eric 7100" your online credibility just went way down..........."

I say we join together and boycott his website, if and when he releases his game.

Not your fault Arenafoot. Don't feel bad. You reported what was going on as it was happening to the best of your ability. You posted newsworthy info without linking offsite and forcing everybody to go elsewhere and leave the safety of Atari I/O. You provided an update when you had new information. We all very much appreciate this.

Note: The topic title has been edited to remove "AtariSoft" and "New Game Discovered".

Also, whenever people ask us "Why did you create another Atari forum when there already was one?" This is partially why.

Zaku by Super Fighter Team is one of the best games available on the Lynx.  It has great gameplay and amazing production for a "homebrew" and outshines most retail releases.  The problem is that only 600 copies were produced and they've been sold out for a couple of years.  This means that the only way to play Zaku has been to pay eBay scalper prices. The Lynx players who missed out around the globe let out a cry.  Fortunately, Super Fighter Team answered their call.  Today, they announced that they are going to do a second run of 400 copies of Zaku.  The price is $58 shipped in the U.S., $65 worldwide.  All of the details are here:   http://www.zaku-lynx.com/purchase.htm

I am not at all affiliated with SFT.  I just think that Zaku is an AMAZING game and want to get the word out.  If you're into Lynx, you owe it to yourself to grab a copy.  Check out this youtube video (not mine) and judge for yourself.

If you have not been to this yet, you should consider it. Last year was the biggest year ever, with 2016 looking to be bigger. There is something for everybody. My booth is mostly 8 bit, but I have a little of everything got it. Last year I found a 800 for $30, 1200xl keyboard for free. My booth buddy does custom tshirts. Panels, free arcade play, it's really worth it.

The commercial for the new Crystal Pepsi is really really good. It's called "The 92nd Floor". It starts off with a janitor at Pepsi who is cleaning the elevator and finds a button to a secret 92nd floor. ("92" for 1992 when Crystal Pepsi is from) The elevator turns in to a sort of time machine that takes him to this hidden floor where it's still 1992. Even the video goes back to standard definition and the commercial looks like it was recorded from TV on VHS. Here it is:

Seems like Crystal Pepsi has made a resurgence lately. Lots of people talking about it. For some reason the idea of clear Pepsi seemed really magical at the time, even though it was basically just 7-Up or Sprite. I wonder how many actually drank it at the time? It only lasted from 1992-1993 but the commercial was memorable even today:

Blue Lightning is one of the best games of that era for any system. Play Top Gun on NES then come play Blue Lightning on Lynx and it'll knock your socks off. It was uncommon in flight games to have that ability to fly so high above the clouds and sow low to the ground, to roll the jet and spin around with so much precision. Atari used Blue Lightning as its in store retail demo at Toys R Us, Montgomery Wards, Software Etc. and other retailers using a special demo card:
