So it took a long sleepless night to get it done in time, but the newest Thursday video is done!  Looking back I should've went for the easier video and gave myself more time as the lower third cards aren't timed out properly, I missed some information on the keystone Koppers card and worst of all I called omega race Delta race... twice.   And while I can blame some of the issues on having a laptop that's poorly suited for editing (when the editor is full of video elements it's near impossible to tweak anything) I could've done it by getting some rest and taking my time.
Anyway, enough behind the scenes stuff, I had a lot of fun getting this video ready!  I had to skip games like E.X.O because it doesn't work on Concerto, and I skipped a few of the ms Pac man hacks and stuff because I didn't want the video flooded with those types of games.  But trust me when I say it'll all get covered... eventually!  So even though it says "Every Homebrew Ranked" it should've honestly said "Every Homebrew That I Can Play on my Hardware and Isn't A Ton of Ms Pac Man Hacks or Still A Work In Progress Ranked Also I Still Might've Missed Some".  One rolls off the tongue better than the other 😂😂😂
    Anyway here it is guys!

This week will be busy!  We have the Podcast tomorrow at 7pm, I'll have a few Cheats and Easter Egg Shorts going up and I will have a yet another review this Monday!  But Man Vs 7800s will be sprinkled back in soon!  Ok guys I hope to see you all in the chat on the podcast!

The 5200 has a good game library.  In fact, it has some of the best good-to-bad ratio for games.  Never mind that 8-bit games can be converted to it.  Had Atari released the self-centering controllers, I believe things could have been different, as that was the weak point for the system.  Not that the ColecoVision controllers were all that good.  The Inty controller is not bad but does take getting used to it.  Also, the planned smaller 5200 (5100?) would have been nice.

I've tried but have not been able to improve my score.  At least not using emulation.  I have to see if I can play on real hardware with my Trak-Ball controller.  🙂

I think they heard the comments of what it was missing and that is why it has been delayed. Good for them for paying attention.

They sure did!  I was not aware that they had developed Phoenix for the 2600, the one and only port of the game to home systems.  Interesting that they would make the game as best they could and then scale it back based on resources of the system.  I bet a 16K version of Phoenix to the 2600 would have been even more impressive.  I also liked how they thought about it when making games.  "Let's capture the arcade experience and make it as close as possible."  Very different from the idea Atari had when they developed the original port of Pac-Man.  History would have been so different had these guys kept on developing games for the 7800 in 1984!  I hope the next video covers the story of the 7800 and what they had originally planned for the system!
