TrekMD got a reaction from DegasElite in The Hunt - Atari Jaguar Port
"The Hunt" is a turn based combat puzzle game. You control a young Predator on his first Hunt on the planet Earth. Fight your way through 16 randomly generated, and progressively harder, levels to claim your ultimate trophy. Download for Free and play our your Jaguar Game Drive or Skunkboard: https://jagcorner.com/the-hunt/
A port of the ABBCU SW competition: The original Atari 8-Bit computer version can be found here: https://forums.atariage.com/topic/218058-the-hunt-from-abbuc-sw-contest-2013/
Thank you to Jakub ‘Ilmenit’ Debski (original code), and Michal ‘stRing’ Radecki (music), for making a great game that deserves a bit more attention, and for their approval, feedback on music and other thoughts suggestions. Also, credit goes to Pawel ‘ripek’ Szewczyk for the artwork in the original version. Also, a special thank you to Lawrence Staveley (Reboot) for helping prepare the ROM for release.

TrekMD reacted to MaximumRD in I never had an original GAMEBOY back in the day.
Indeed I was watching it earlier in fact. This channel was previously LinuxFanMan (Bill Hafenrichter), we converse often as I was subbed to him for years as well he is in my Facebook Classic Gaming & Computing (and modern) Group. 😁

@Video 61 can weigh in on this more than I can - and maybe this would be an excellent topic for one of his unique Blog posts - but according to Lance, EPYX had a great many more Lynx games already in development that would've cost Atari very little to bring to fruition, but Jack Tramiel pulled the plug. Incredibly unfortunate.

I know greatest game lists are subjective but the games are really good examples of the capabilities of Atari's little cat...

You're not alone! In fact, the first Inty I got was the Inty II. I now also have the Sears Super Video Arcade, which has a nice design and detachable controllers.

I didn't have one either. My cousins did and I played it but much preferred my Lynx at the time. I got a GBA many years later, though. 🙂
